The Eyes Behind the Mask

Do you remember that promise?

Macky's POV

"Why am I doing this?" I put my back on a tree, looking at the stars. "it was only a childish promise. She probably forgot all about it."  My hands soon met my face as I let out a sigh, before I became Slendy's proxy. Ever since then we haven't talked or every seen each other face to face. She was only 7 years old, she must have someone or something completely blanking me from her head.

**FLASH BACK**

"Heeey, Tim..Tim..Tim!!" It was at my dad's boss's wedding. He invited the family to come "Yeah what is it Lora?" Around when everyone was dancing and having a good time. I mostly stayed out in the corner. "Come dance with me~. Its a lot of fun!" Then she dragged me to the dance floor, and just jumped around holding my hands. After a good 30 minutes of standing there awkwardly, it was time for her step mom to throw the flowers and all. When she throw them as Lora caught it, Her face brightened up and looked me dead in the eyes and said "Tim!, I'm going to be with you and no one else." I just laugh " alright alright we can". She just pouted "No! You have to promise me!" "Yeah, yeah I promise."

**End Flash Back**

I sighed looking back at her window, wondering if she kept that promise? When I saw her light go out, I just stared before heading to slendy's. Right when I got home, the load out burst of everyone filled my head. Making me have a headache, I walked up to slendy's office. "You needed me sir?" as I stoked my head in the door "Damn it, I called you an hour ago! What were you doing to ignore me?" I looked at the floor rubbing the back of my head "You went to see that girl again.. didn't you?". 

I jumped and just nodded " Well... You" but before I finished he cut me off  "Just go to bed, you can do it in the morning". He pushed me out and slammed the door closed. "Man I really got him mad this time" I thought to my self and walked in my room and fell on my bed, just thinking about everything. Plus trying to push her out of mind, but over the year she's gotten so.. pretty. Soon after I fell asleep.

"Hey Masky! Hey Maaasky!!" I woke up to hear Toby screaming on my ear. "What is it!?" I jumped up, grabbing Toby's shirt collar tightly. He just laughs " I heard that you messed up last night, you know anymore of that. You know what will happen to you" giving a smirk. Rolling my eyes "Yes I do, but don't get your hopes up. I know he's going to make Hoodie the top proxy."  Letting go of his collar than kicking him out. "Now don't come in my room again you bug!" quickly changed and walking down the stairs. I heard EJ talking about this girl he seen to the point he couldn't kill her. I just shruged it off, and cared on into the kitchen to get some cheese cake.

"So, Who's this girl you've been seeing Masky." Sally sat at the other side of the tablet holding teddy. "Oh, she's no one really... I made a stupid promise when I was younger." I looked down with a light blush covering my cheeks. She smiled "Is she pretty?" I just nodded and walked off.

I needed to see and ask her if she does, it wont help me sitting around. After a while I was at her door step with out my mask. Reaching my arm out the room swagged open to see her father grinning. " Well its been forever since I've you Tim" rubbing the back of my head. "Yeah I has huh?" he pulled me in, sitting me down in the living room. "So what can I help you with?" he sat down looking his fingers together staring. " Well... I wanted to see how Lora was doing..." as quickly as it start his smile dropped. "Is that all you came here son? If so her room is up stairs where it usually is" I nodded and walked their huge flight of stairs. Just to get to the room and freeze, hearing the song from that wedding. Taking a be breath in, I opened it to see crazily dancing. like when we were younger. She didn't even knoticed me come in "Wow, your dancing hasn't changed" she quickly jumped falling face first in the bed. Looking at me "W..when did you get here?" "just a second ago, bu I wanted to ask you something." walking over to her. "What?" she sat up with her knee's at her chest. "Do you remember that promise that we made?"
