Chapter Eight

"Damn man what the hell you made out of, iron?" I say running a hand through my hair to get it out of my face.Once it's out of my face I see a hand extended to me, taking it I feel sparks as they pull me up.

"Shit." I curse and my body tenses as I look up to see who I ran into.

"Well I wouldn't peg myself as a superhero but I like to dream." Connor says with a grin spread across his face.
I laugh and am about to reply when a bang catches my attention, I turn around and see a bunch of jocks pushing Keegan around.

"If you'll excuse me I have a lesson to teach to some airheads." With that I walk away and march over to the jocks.

"Hey assholes why don't you pick on somebody your own size." They stop and turn to face me.

"Why don't you go and mind your own business little girl."

"What did you just call me?"

"I said little girl." I take a step toward him, and me being me I'm half his size.

"Hey come on Jordan lets just go." Elliot says

"Yeah you should listen to your friend over there."

"I'll leave if and your buddies leave Keegan alone."

"And if we don't?"

"I'll make sure you regret it."

"Aw how cute you look like a little girl threatening to choke me with her jump rope." (comment if you know what book that's from ;) )

"Jordan can we go please." This time Megan speaks up.The jock (who's name is Will) turns back around and raises his fist to punch Keegan.Stepping in quickly I grab his arm.

"Dude back off." I say

"Yo Will what's the hold up, I thought we were gonna kick his ass." Another jock, Nate, walks up he freezes when He sees me.

"Hey Nate why don't you take Will here and the rest of your gang of airheads and leave." Nate just nods his head and starts pulling on wills jacket.

"Come on man lets go."

"That's it? Your gonna let some little girl tell you what to do!" Nate whispers something in his ear and Will's eyes go wide, he looks at me and apologizes.With that he and his friends walk away, crouching down I give my hand to Keegan.

"You alright?" He just stares at my hand.

"Why are you helping me?"

"Are you gonna take my hand or not my arms getting tired." Slowly he takes my hand and I pull him up.

"If they bother you again come get me." I flash a smile and walk to 8th period.

"Wow Jordan you sure showed them!" Elliot says while laughing, I spin around to face him and the rest of my friends.

"Fuck off."

"What's wrong with you?" Megan questions.

"What's wrong with me?!!!!! You guys know damn well what it's like to be pushed around and bullied, in fact you would still be bullied if it wasn't for me and you guys just stood there and tried to leave while Keegan was going through the same fucking thing you were, that's my problem!!!!!!!!!" Fixing an icy glare at all of them I stomp of to 8th period.
