I'm Black Beauty and I have been threw a lot in my life and it all started at my birth . It was a cold winter day, and there was just my mother and Jerry the farmer that took care of my mother. Jerry found my mother laying in her stable taking big breaths in and out. He immediately called for help and his sister and father came. They lay by my mothers side worried. They called for the vet but it would be a while before he got there because he was at a meeting so they had to do it by themselves. It wasn't long before I was born and welcomed to the world. All I wanted to do was to sleep but they were all over me and it was hard to sleep. As soon as I got enough strength I decided to stand up. I fell a couple times and then my mother helped me. As soon as I got up I drank my mother's milk for a few minutes. After that I fell asleep and rested for a couple hours.
