I woke up to a weird smell in the stables and the loud sounds coming from the horses. My mother was trying to wake me up, so I did as she told me and got up. There was this red flame coming from the hay that we ate and there was a couple horses on the ground not moving at all.
The flame was getting near and it was starting to get really hot in the barn. The horses were screaming for help. A boy and a tall man ran towards the barn with water trying to put out the fire.
More and more people started to come helping get all the horses out and bringing more water. Two little girls got me out, but no one was getting my mother. I was worried and never wanted to leave my mother, for I feared I would never see her again.
The girls forced me out because I was not that strong because I was dizzy from the strange flame and smoke. After the two girls got me out the roof caved in from the barn and I was still waiting for my mother. No one was going back in for the other horses so I started calling for my mother hoping she would return.
Finally a man ran out with a horse, but I couldn't make out who it was, instead I passed out from being really dizzy. After that I don't know what happened but all I wanted to do was lay down and dream about me and my mother gazing in the fields.
