It's okay to be sad I've learned.
I no longer resent myself when I cry or am hurt.
It's okay to cry until there are no more tears left and all you're left with are salty, burning cheeks.
Pain teaches lessons that sometimes take numerous times to learn.
Pain makes you sometimes forget that there is hope.
Pain is sometimes all you want to feel.
You begin to feel sorry for yourself and just wallow in it.
Forgetting that you've felt happiness and there is more to come...
if you let it.
Don't let it swallow you.
Don't let it become you.
Don't let it control you.
Life is hard because we are inherently all alone.
Sometimes we forget that time passes by while we're in pain,
forget the important role we play in our life and the value of time.
The value of time that could be spent chasing opportunities,
learning new passions,
being happy...
Pain consumes you but maybe the key to not letting it is just that.
It's okay to be sad but It's also okay to be happy.
