Hey everyone!!!
Thank you so much in advance for taking time to read, vote, and comment on this art book! I appreciate each and every one of my followers and readers. (Even though I don't have many.) I'll try hard to reply to any comments you leave behind as soon as possible. Requests are open I guess... I'll tell you if I get too many or don't have time, but don't be afraid to ask! :)
Anyways, enough with the chitchat. Let's get down to business. (To defeat the Huns... da da da da)
I'm gonna start with a few older drawings of mine, just to give you a bit of a timeline.
I drew this particular girl on January 1st, 2018. She was probably my first successful artwork using alcohol-based markers, and I'm pretty happy with it. (I used Ohuhu markers, which are an off brand of Copic markers, but since they're way less expensive, that's fine. I mean, who doesn't love a good discount, right?) Looking back, I can see a few things wrong with the anatomy and such, but overall, it's a pretty good piece.
*rustles my tour guide papers* Moving on!
Next up is this drawing of a bride! (Excuse the horrible lighting: blah.) Again, there are some things wrong with the anatomy, but I really like the lace details of the dress. I was starting to get used to my alcohol markers at the time of this drawing, but as you can see I still have a bit to learn.
Okay, this piece is kind of where I'm at right now, talent-wise at least. I made this in April 2018. It's one of my favorite artworks ever, and it's also where I started drawing in one of my favorite mediums: digital!
I'm lucky enough to have an iPad Pro in my family, and sometimes I get to snag it from my three other siblings (I'm mostly talking to you, bro. Fortnite is not an IV drip bag to be hooked up to day and night!) and draw on Procreate with my Apple Pencil. Procreate is a really good program, and I recommend it to any artist who wants to try digital art. (It works on all iPads I think, but the iPad Pro is the only device that works with an Apple Pencil.)
Anyway, I really like this piece, especially the character design and the fact that I didn't massacre the hands :)
This piece is my first attempt at digital painting, which involves blending colors and not using line art to convey the shapes. I 'painted' this a couple days ago, and it strangely ended up looking like someone at my school... hmm. Anyway, I like the overall idea, but the process was kind of time consuming and I'll probably just stick to line art for a while longer. (Hehehe look at me trying to avoid difficult art techniques.)
Overall, this art book will mostly consist of:
*any artwork that I feel like posting
*completed requests
*maybe a contest or two
*anything else that comes to my completely random mind :)Please let me know if you have any more ideas, because I want this art book to be for you guys just as much as it's for me!
I have a lot more artwork that I haven't posted yet, but I might make some new chapters to post those, so hang tight!
Have a great day full of fun! :)
