Chapter 19 - " Not A Goodbye "

Author's Note : This is a continuation to Chapter 18 .

Carter's POV

I went back in the room and walked straight to the bathroom . I can't believe I let her go . Vannah was my definition of perfect . I looked at my eyes , filled with tears . I still love her , but I just need a break . I got back out and Ella , Mia , Nash , and Hayes were up .
"Morning guys ." I smiled weakly .
"Morning Carter ." said Mia who was already holding a bag of candy .
"How the ?" I asked confused .
"Are we the only ones awake ?" Ella asked .
"Yup . Can I tell you guys something ?" I asked .
"Sure ." Nash nodded .
"What is it ?" Ella asked curious .
"Umm .. I broke up with Vannah ." I scratched the back of my neck .
"Oh ." Ella sat straight staring off into space .
"So ... Is she okay ?" Nash asked .
"I don't know ." I answered .
"We should do something . Just the four of us . I'm pretty sure Carter needs to get things off his mind ." Hayes suggested a brilliant idea .
"Sounds great . Let's go to the beach --" I was cut off .
"Let's go get away . They say what they gonna say ." Mia and Ella start rapping .
"Alright , alright . Enough Nicki Minajes , let's go ." Nash said taking off his shirt .
"Ouh . Abs ." Ella laughed and took off her shirt as well .
"Oh , are we all stripping now ?" Hayes asked .
"Nope , just changing ." said Ella who was struggling to get her head out of the crop top .
"Heyy Vannah ..." Mia said lowly as Vannah walked in the room .
"Hi ." She went to bed near Mahogany .
"We're gonna go to the --" Ella was cut off .
"It's okay . I don't wanna go . I just wanna get back to sleep ." Vannah closed her eyes and wrapped herself with the blanket .
"Let's go then ." I walked out of the room .
"Do I look okay ?" Mia asked as we walked in the elevator .
"You look great ." Ella answered with a smile . Mia was wearing a muscle tank that said 'Gilinsky Bruhh' , black jean shorts , and white vans .
"Thanks , you look so cute in that outfit ." Mia smiled back . Ella wore a floral crop top , faded blue jean shorts , and white sandals .
"I look fabulous ." Nash said walking out .
"The sass is real ." Hayes whispered to us .
"And I thought Sky was sassy ." Ella laughed .
"Holy fans ." Mia dropped her jaw as we saw like 1,000 fans . I'm exaggerating , there's only like 50 .
"Heyy guys !" Ella smiled and waved .
"I WUV YOU LELA ." An adorable little girl ran to Ella and hugged her legs .
"Someone take a picture !" I whisper-yelled .
"I think the fans took a lot already ." Mia laughed .
"What's your name cutiepie ?" Nash sat down next to Ella and asked the little girl .
"Ewika(Erica) ." The little girl answered with a giggle .
"Hi Ewika ! Ouh you are such an adorable baby girl , how old are you ?" Ella asked smiling .
"And who are you with lovely ?" Nash added .
"I'm twee (3) and I'm hewe wiff my big shister Alyanna ." Erika pointed at the beautiful fan with extremely light brown eyes .
"Alyanna , where iz you at ?" Ella laughed .
"Right here ." The fan stepped up and smiled .
"Oh get over here gorgeous !" Ella hugged Alyanna .
"Well hello Aphrodite ." Alyanna's eyes met Nash's and they basically started at each other .
"*cough* drooling ." Ella laughed and wiped Nash's lips .
The fans screamed and fangirled .
"Og' . Nuh-uh guys . Dallas chick over here ." Ella carried Erika and walked over to Hayes .
"Babe , you carry her ." Ella passed Erika over to Hayes and he smiled .
"Ouh . You have really pretty eyes ." Erika smiled as she started at Hayes' eyes .
"Thank you cutie . You have beautiful eyes yourself ." Hayes kissed Erika's cheek .
"Hey guys , what's a really nice beach to go to here in San Diego ?" Mia asked the fans .
There was so much answers that we couldn't hear them right .
"HOLD DA FUDGE UP . ONE AT A TIME LOVELIES !" Ella yelled out .
"Okay , so out of all the beaches we have here in San Diego , La Jolla is my fave--" Alyanna was cut off .
"Alright guys , we are going to La Jolla beach !" Nash put his arm around Alyanna and she blushed rose red .
"Pretty boy's gettin' it ." Mia faked a cry .
"He's growing up too fast ." I added .
"Wait , before we go to the beach . I just wanted to say thank you all so much for always being so kind to us , it sucks that we're leaving in 4 days but we all enjoyed your company and we really hope to come back here sometime ." Ella annouced .
"Not only that . But we love you all so much . The support you guys have been giving us is just magnificent . I also wanna say sorry to all my Cannah fans ." I took a deep breath .
Some fans were already crying .
Ella rubbed my back as exhaled .
"I ... I took a break from dating . I am now single not ready to mingle and I just need time alone . And these guys , Ella , Mia , Nash , Hayes , and you guys too , you guys make me extremely happy . I couldn't ask for a better family ." I smiled .
The fans were very shocked but I'm sure they understood my decision .
"Alright , my San Diego people . Lead the way to Lala beach ." Mia smiled .
"La Jolla ." Alyanna corrected her .
*at the beach*
"Oh my gosh . How the hell can you guys stand the heat ? It's so hot !" Ella complained as we sat on the picnic blanket set for visitors .
"We pretty much got used to this kind of temperature ." One of the fans answered .
"Ouh , I think a coconut trees about to fall ." Ella smirked .
"Dude that's not good ." I was worried .
"Not that coconut tree , Asian . I'm talking about Nash ." Ella pointed at Nash who was obviously trying to impress Alyanna .
"Ya know the drill sister ." Ella looked at Mia and shook her head .
"GET SOME !" They yelled as loud as they could .
"I GOT HER NUMBER !" Nash yelled back .
"Congratulations turtle !" Ella laughed .
"Tenks ." Nash smiled widely .
"Hey ! We should make like a little video ." I suggested because I was honestly getting really bored .
"Sound good . You do your update video first ." Mia smiled and ran off to the fans .
"I'll stay with you ." Ella sighed and we ran up stairs to the tables .
"Ready ?" I asked as I set up my phone .
"Yup ." Ella smiled as I started recording .
"What up everybody , it's Carter and I'm here with my beautiful best friend Ella Espinosa ." I smiled .
"Hey guys !" Ella waved .
"Today we are at La Jolla beach in San Diego . I'm gonna make this part of the video really quick so let's get to it ." I ran my fingers through my hair .
"He's like trying to say this in the easiest way possible ." Ella said before I started talking .
"Alright . So as you guys know Vannah Gilinsky is my girlfriend , but not anymore . I decided to take a break . It's pretty hard for me right now and I think that being in a relationship would make it a bit harder . Some of you guys are probably saying or thinking things like 'but that's why you have a girlfriend . You're supposed to share your problems with her .' I understand that , but I don't want the person I love have more problems because of me . I know Vannah has problems of her own but I do need time by myself ." I explained my decision and took a deep breath .
"Now that that's been said , let's go meet up with the others ." Ella took my phone and started talking .
"Carter . Come on ." She stopped and waited for me .
"Say hi guys !" Ella gave me my phone and called the others over .
"Hey guys , it's Nash Grier and I love San Diego ." Nash smiled .
"Whaddup everybody it's Mia Gilinsky and I hope you all stay awesome ." Mia winked .
"Sup guys , I'm Hayes Grier and this beautiful young lady is Erika ." Hayes smiled .
"Aly , say hi ." Ella got my phone and got Alyanna in the video .
"Hey , I'm Alyanna ." Aly smiled and waved .
"Say hello to out amazing fans ." Ella laughed .
The fans screamed and waved . Mia , Ella , Nash , and I played some volleyball as Hayes video taped and the fans did the usual fangirling .
"Time out ! I got a text ." Ella raised her arm and got her phone out .
"It's from Matt ." She looked worried .
"What's wrong ?" Mia asked worried as well .
"It's Vannah .." Ella started to tear up .
"What's wrong with my sister ?! What happened to her ?!" Mia screamed .
"Hold the fuck up . I don't know . We gotta get back to the hotel ." Ella calmed Mia down and told Hayes cut .
"Guys , we had a lot of fun , but we really gotta go . It's an emergency ." I announced to the fans .
"I'll call you later ." Nash kissed Alyanna's forehead .
Everyone was worried and we didn't know what was going on . If anything bad happened to Vannah , I don't know what I'm gonna do . We may have broken up , but I love her just as much as I did when we were still dating .
*back at the hotel lobby*
"There you guys are . Where were you ?" Matthew walked up to us and asked .
"We went to the beach to get things out of my mind ." I answered .
"Do you guys know what happened to Vannah ?" Jack G. , Vannah and Mia's older brother , asked in tears .
"No , we left when she went back to the room and went back to bed next to Mahogany ." Mia answered .
"She locked herself in the room next door ." Matthew added frustrated .
"Is that our fault ?!" Ella raised her voice at her twin brother .
"I'm not saying that it's your fault , but you guys could have at least made sure she was going back to sleep . And don't you raise your voice at me Amethyst ." Matt glared at Ella .
"There's like so much other room cards , why don't you guys use those to open the door ?" Mia asked .
"That's the problem , she took everyone's cards ." Jack G. answered .
"Not everyone's ." Ella said relieved .
"What do you mean ?" Matt asked .
"I hid Cam and I's cards in case we ..." Ella stopped talking .
"I had nothing to do with that ." Cameron surrendered his arms .
"Oh hush it . C'mon I hid them in somewhere no one would ever find them ." Ella ran to the elevator .
"Mia , Gilinsky go knock on the door ." Ella commanded .
"Why won't our door open ?!" Matt asked .
"I got this ." Ella went near the door knob .
"Espinosa bitch ." Ella whispered .
The door opened and everyone was shocked .
"How --" Matt was cut off .
"It's the hotels security system for main rooms . It's incase you lose your card or forget it somewhere ." Ella explained as she unzipped Cameron's luggage .
"Alexander , when was the last time you folded your clothes ." Ella complained as she dug into his bag .
"Exactly where did you hide the cards ?" Jacob asked curious .
"Umm . In condoms ." Ella answered as she held a condom with two hotel room cards in it .
"Ewe Ella !" I said moving back .
"Relax idiots , it's a never been used condom that has conditioner in it ." Ella said squeezing the cards out .
"C'mon !" Matt said pushing Ella to the next room as she got one of the cards out .
"Vannah ! Where are --" Jack G. kicked the door open as Ella turned the knob .
"Oh god . No . No . No . Vannah don't . No more ." I cried . Her arms were filled with blood and pain . I could feel all of the pain . The love of my life was broken . She was hurt . I ran next to her and wrapped my arms around her neck . She did the same .
"I am so sorry ." I sobbed putting my forehead on hers .
"I know how you feel now Carter ." Vannah said as she cried .
"I love you so much ." I kissed her passionately . Glass like tears fell from our eyes as we shared the pain of love .
"I love you too, Carter ." She pulled back and dropped the blades .
"Let's get you wrapped up baby ." Ella got the first aid kit out and asked Jacob for assistance .
"Let's go to the bathroom to wash off all the blood first ." Ella helped Vannah up and led her to the bathroom . I followed and watched as blood was dripping for her arms to the sink .
"Alright let's go back to the bed , I'm gonna wrap your arm to make the bleeding stop then your gonna have to drink lots of water and get lots of sleep cause you lost a whole lot of blood , love ." Ella said in tears .
"Jacob , you're gonna have to stay with me for this one okay ? Okay . Vannah hold your arm out straight ." Ella opened the first aid kit and got the things she needed to make the bleeding lessen .
"Carter . Come over here . Like right next to Vannah ." Ella looked at me and nodded . I did as she said .
"Are you gonna --" Vannah asked worried but was cut off .
"Yes sweetie , I have to ." Ella wiped her tears and opened the alcohol wipes .
"Carter , be as passionate as possible . Pretend that we're not here and make her feel like she's the only girl in the world ." My best friend looked at me with fearful eyes .
"Ready ? Three two one go ." Ella gave me a quick nod and I did what she told me to do .
As I gave Vannah the most passionate kiss I could ever give . I still feel the painful tears running from her eyes .
"Why can't we bring her to the hospital ?" Aaron asked the most stupidest question ever .
"Because people would ask what happened . Our fans would worry . More bad reviews about us . More bullshity stories . And they'd send her to this mental shit hospital , and hell no I ain't letting that happen ." Ella answered .
"And parents would say things like I can't believe my child idolizes this person ." Jacob rolled his eyes .
"We're done ." Ella took a deep breath and smiled weakly .
"Thank you so much , Ella ." Vannah smiled with tears .
"You're family Vannah . And besides I couldn't risk losing someone as amazing as you ." Ella smiled .
"I am so sorry to all of you . I'm sorry this ever happened ." Vannah looked at the group as they cried on each other .

Hey everybody ! This chapter was a bit hurtful to write but very easy coming from someone who was a self harmer . But I stopped because I realized that my blood isn't worth someone who doesn't give a damn about me , it was really hard . It took me months to stop harming myself but as I saw the people I love getting hurt , it made me stop . I'm already working on the next chapter so yeah ! It's coming soon !
