Mr. Jones was already in bed. Mrs. Jones was reading the paper, sipping her tea. She looked up as we came through the door "Oh honey, glad you're here. Mrs. Russell wanted me to tell you to come home. Now I can't make you, but I think you should probably talk to her." Umm, talk to her? Nope. Never again. "I'm sorry, but I can't." I sat on the couch, beside Jacob. Hopefully Jacob's about to tell her we've leaving. Cause I can't. I just can't. Jacob glanced at me and raised his eye brows, and I nodded 'yes'. Jacob shifted uneasily "Rilee and I have something important to tell you. So please hear us out." Mrs. Jones sat down her paper on the coffee table, motioning for him to continue. "Well, we think it's best if we move. It'll help us out, I think. Just get away from everything. You're not mad are you?" Jacob walked over to his mom and hugged her, and I couldn't just sit there. So I hugged her too. She was like my mom, in a weird way. For 3 years she's took me in if I needed it. She's always so nice to me, unlike my mom. She understands my style, and my life. Just, she's a good person. I need good people right now that will be there for me. After we hugged, it was kinda awkward. Mrs. Jones said her farewells, making us promise to keep in touch with them. Jacob brought our bags to his car, putting them in the back seat. I slid in the passenger seat, and Jacob the driver's side. "So, where to?"
