The soft rustling of wild winds against vibrantly colored leaves decorated the tree with a wide array of hues. In this beautiful tree, on top of an aged branch, sat a little nest with a family of two. None other than the Mockingbird itself. Usually, a mother Mockingbird averagely lays 2-4 eggs a year, but because of complications, she could only birth one. Yet, she couldn't have asked for enough.
The mother chirped and sang her heart out to her little baby hatchling, keeping him familiar with the harmonious melodies they miraculously could produce. Bringing joy merely with the sound of their voices. Slowly enough, the baby mockingbird began to sing as well. Little by little, tube by tune. Then one particular day in a lovely Spring, they both began to sing with each other, earning themselves the title as the two birds with the most beautiful and bewildering voices. Critters would pass by and wave them a friendly hello, and the Mockingbirds would respond with a piece of a song, filling them with a new hope for the day to come. The Mockingbirds were an essential part of the forest's daily cycle. Without them, it would fall into a horrible darkness.
As years passed and seasons whirred by, the little bird grew older and stronger with the help of his mother.
