____One
Just one would be enough.
As Kirshima played the conversation he had with his dad not too long ago, before he placed the sharp blade below his knee.
It's all your damn fault.
He felt the blade cut just on his calf. He his the blade under the carpet.
"Eiji?" He heard a soft voice call out. He pulled down his pants so that it would hide his cuts.
"Come in." He said as normally as possible.
"Eiji. Are you okay? Are you clean?" His sister demanded to pull up his sleeves.
His wrists were clean. She just didn't know where else to look.
"It seems like you're okay but, What dad said must've hurt you." She said sympathetically. Kirishima hummed in agreement. He looked down, not having the courage to meet his sisters gaze.
"He is right though. Mom would still be alive if I hadn't been a stupid kid and thought I could protect you." Kirishima said his voice cracking.
"Don't say that! It was a long time ago and you were a kid! I shouldn't have been such a coward and went back for you instead of just running away!" His sister said tears almost glowing under the dimly lit lamp. She wiped her tears and hugged Kirishima.
"Are you sure you can talk to anyone in this state? Is this really what you need right now?" She asked still hugging him.
"Yeah. I need something to distract me anyways." Kirishima replied.
She pulled away and nodded. She pecked him on the cheek before saying goodnight and going to her own room.
It was a bad idea to leave him alone that night. His thoughts were telling him to give in to the addiction he had.
And he did give in.
He didn't count how many cuts he made and he sure as hell didn't do a very good job at keeping them hidden.
What do you say in this situation?
It was bad enough that Bakugou noticed but now, he asked about them.
Kirishima tightened his grip on the bed sheets. Bakugou seemed to notice and spoke up.
"Sorry, I shouldn't pry about these things." Bakugou said. He brushed his hand through his hair and sighed.
"I'm not really good at this sort of stuff." He continued. Kirishima chuckled.
"Really? You put out some really wise words there." Kirishima said turning to Bakugou.
For a while Bakugou just stared at Kirishima. He wore a tired expression but, was still smiling. His hair was a mess and it was adorable, he was fidgeting his fingers unsure of what to say.
Bakugou wondered why such a cheerful person would feel so insecure.
"Well, don't worry I won't tell anyone. This isn't any of my business." Bakugou says. He stands up, getting ready to take a shower.
He didn't notice Kirishima reaching out to him, wanting to tell him everything. Kirishima's view of Bakugou changed when he opened up for a moment. Bakugou was a person whose been praised his whole life, people praised the very ground he walked on and he got crushed by the reality that he isn't as strong as people say he is.
Kirishima lay down on his bed and hoped that he would get the sleep he needed for tomorrow.
The nightmares would prevent him from getting any sort of sleep.
