Morgan's POV We were unpacking in his room when there was a knock on the door. The door opened and Sam walked in.
"What are you guys doing?" He asked.
"Unpacking her stuff." Colby said. He nodded.
"So, it's official, you're moving in?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said. He smiled.
"Good, we don't need this one moping around anymore." He said.
"Moping around?" I looked at Colby.
"A conversation for a later day." He said. I nodded. "So what did you actually need?" He asked.
"Right, we're having a party tonight for Devyn's birthday." He said. "So, Corey asked me if you can come with us to get stuff and if you can get her out of the house for the day." He said.
"Where would I take her?" I asked.
"Shopping, I don't know, somewhere." He said. I shrugged.
"I'll figure it out." I said.
"We need to leave now though." He said. Colby nodded. I pecked his lips and he smiled and grabbed his wallet and phone and followed Sam and they walked out. I finished unpacking and walked to Devyn and Corey's room and knocked.
"Come in!" She yelled. I walked in and shut the door and walked to her closet and I saw her going through clothes.
"Hey, Devyn. Guess what." I said.
"What?" She asked.
"I'm all moved in." I said. She turned around and ran to me and hugged me. I hugged back and we pulled away. She and I will always be the best of friends.
"That's awesome." She said.
"Yeah, so happy birthday." I said.
"Thank you." She smiled half heartedly.
"What's wrong?" I asked sitting on the floor. She sat beside me.
"For some reason I feel like Corey forgot about my birthday." She said.
"Babe, he would never forget." I said.
"I know, but it just feels like he did." She said.
"Why do you say that?" I asked.
"He hasn't said anything or acknowledged it." She said.
"Well, I'll tell you what, you and I can go and have a shopping spree and grab food." I said.
"That I can do. Lets get ready." She said. I nodded and got up and helped her up.
"I'm gonna go get ready." I said. She nodded. I walked out and walked in mine and Colby's room and I grabbed my makeup bag, hair brush and curling wand. I sat in front of the full body mirror and brushed my hair. I curled my hair and unplugged the wand and set it on top of an old shirt on the floor and I grabbed my makeup and started doing my Smokey eyed make up. When I finished I got up and started looking through my clothes and I found an outfit and got dressed and took a picture in the full body mirror and posted it on Instagram.

I locked my phone and went to Devyn's room and knocked. She opened the door.
"Damn, girl." I said. "If Corey doesn't hit that tonight, I might." I said. She giggled.
"Lets go." She said. I grabbed my bag that has my phone, wallet and keys. We walked downstairs and out to my car. We got in and I started the car and drove off to the mall. I was getting ready to turn into the parking garage when everything went black.
Colby's POV We were at the store getting the cake when my phone started ringing. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw it was an unknown number. I answered it putting it to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked. Sam was recording all the stupid crap we were doing.
"Hi, is this Colby Brock?" A lady asked.
"Yes, who is this?" I asked.
"My name is Michelle, I am a nurse at the Kindred Hospital. You are listed as an emergency contact for a Ms. Morgan Taylor." She said.
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"She was recently admitted into the hospital for a car crash." She said. I dropped the bottle of Jack Daniels that I had in my hand causing it to bust on the floor. "She's in very critical condition." She said.
"I'll be there shortly." I said and hung up.
"Dude, what the hell? That bottle is expensive." Sam said.
"Y-yeah. I know." I said.
"Whoa, dude what's wrong?" He asked.
"Morgan's in the hospital. She's in critical condition." I said. Corey wasn't near us but he was on the phone.
"Baby, calm down. We will be on our way shortly." He said and hung up and walked over to us. "Devyn is okay. She just called me." He said.
"Yeah, well Morgan isn't." I said. We put everything back and left the store and got in Corey's car and he sped off to the hospital. I was shaking and trying not to cry. We got to the hospital and I got out before Corey could fully park and I ran inside and to the front desk. "I-I'm here for Morgan Taylor. My name's Colby Brock." I said.
"She's in the ICU, you cannot see her just yet." The lady said. I sighed and saw Devyn sitting down with her head in her hands. I went to her and sat beside her.
"What happened?" I asked. Corey sat on the other side.
"We were getting ready to turn into the parking garage for the mall and some drunken idiot was going 100 and hit us." She said. Corey pulled her into a hug. "They haven't contacted Brennen or her mom yet." She said. I pulled my phone out and called Brennen. He picked up on the third ring.
"Hey, brother. What's up?" He asked answering the phone.
"Uh, listen, are you by yourself?" I asked.
"No, I'm at my moms with Jake, Jess and Makayla. Why?" He asked.
"Morgan was in a nasty accident. She's at Kindred Hospital." I said.
"What?! We'll be there soon." He hung up. I sighed and started bouncing my leg. This is gonna be a long day.
