Imagine you're drawn out of your sleep by butterfly kisses on your neck and just below your ear. You open your eyes, a little confused as to where you are. The last thing you remember is being on Michael's jet, anxious to land at Neverland. When Michael purchased Neverland, not only did the Main House and guest cottages come fully furnished, it also came with a golf course, a helicopter landing pad, and a landing strip for the previous owner's private jet. Whenever he can't fly in with you, Michael prefers to send his jet to get you and fly you directly to Neverland. He said that way he doesn't have to wait for you to get home any longer than it takes to fly from Sweden. You smile at the memory and turn over.
"Good morning," Michael says with a smile.
"Good morning."
He leans forward and kisses you. "I love you."
"I love you, too. How did I end up here in your bed? Last I remember I was on your jet." He laughs.
"How much walking around did you do when you decided you wanted to stop in New York City to shop?"
"Four or five hours worth. I didn't want to be driven around. I needed to stretch my legs after a six hour flight." He laughs again.
"That explains why you were tired. I was told you were out like a light somewhere over Colorado. When I boarded the jet after you landed, you didn't even wake up. Not a peep out of you. Although you did wrap your arms around me when I picked you up." You laugh.
"I don't remember that at all."
"You were jet-lagged. I've been waiting all morning for you to wake up. I couldn't wait anymore so I decided to take matters into my own hands." You laugh and he kisses you.
"What time is it now?"
"Lunch time."
"Lunch time? Why didn't you wake me earlier?"
"You need to be well rested for what I have planned for you today."
You snuggle up to him and ask, "What do you have planned?"
"A new tradition I'm going to start here. You'll be the first one to experience it," he says with a grin you very well know means he's up to no good.
"What kind of tradition and what exactly do you mean by 'experiencing it'?"
"You'll have to wait and see."
"Something tells me I'm going to get the raw end of the deal here."
He looks at you with innocence written all over his face. "Sweetheart, I would never do such a thing." He smiles at you while biting his lower lip.
"Uh huh. Mr. Number One Prankster. And giving me that particular smile after telling me you'd not do such a thing means you are definitely up to something."
"It can't be bad," he says before he stops and kisses you; "if it's going to be," he stops and kisses you again; "a tradition from here on out." He kisses you one last time then says, "However, first I want to show you a couple new things I've done here but not until we get some food in you."
"I am hungry," you tell him just as your stomach decides to loudly growl. He laughs then gives you another kiss.
"Go take a shower and get dressed while I make us some lunch."
"Why are you making lunch?"
"Because I want to and because I sent everyone home."
"Everyone? Really?" He nods his head yes.
