Chapter 1

"GET UP"I roll over and shove my face in my pillow. "Your boyfriend is here get up"I look at my annoying cousin then run downstairs. "Hey beautiful"my boyfriend smiles at me. "Hi Dillon"I smile at him. "Can I talk to you for a second"he says his smile disappearing from his face. I nod and we walk up to my room. then he shuts the door and locks it. I sitting down and look at him. "You ok? what's wrong?"I ask. "I know your only 15 but I'm 17 and Ive really wanted this for a while now and well I wanted to know if you wanted to um......... you know"he mumbles looking down. "what? im sorry but no im not ready for that and you know that" I say. "You've been saying your aren't ready for almost 4 months now when are you gonna be ready for God sakes"he says grabbing my arm. "let go"I say and his grip tightens. "I SAID LET GO"I scream then I feel a pain in my cheek. "Babe Oh my im so so-"I cut him off. "YOU HIT ME HOW COULD YOU"I scream then toss on my sweatshirt and run outside. I keep running until I get to the park then I go and sit under "my" tree and start crying. "um are you ok?"I look up to see a boy about a year older than me standing there. I just shake my head and keep crying. he sits by me and opens his arms for a hug. I hug him and lay on his lap crying. I know your probably thinking why are you laying on a stranger. well I don't even know the answer to that. After a while I stop crying and look at him to see him staring at me. "what?"I laugh my voice croaky. "nothing im just wondering why a beautiful girl like you is crying under a tree in the park"he says running his fingers through my hair. I laugh dryly. "long story"I say and close my eyes. "I got time"he smiles then I smile. "Wait I never got your name?"I say. "Jacob"he smiles. I smile then I look at him. "Ok 'jacob' "I say putting emphasis on his name. then I explain to him what happened. "he hit you? where is he at I'll kill him? Are you ok?" he starts asking all these questions then I put my hands on his cheeks. "Hey im fine"I smile. "ok " he smiles then kisses my forehead. "I don't want anyone hurting you"he adds then start playing with my hair. "but you don't really know me"I say. "but I don't like seeing you hurt"he says still playing with my hair. after a while I look around the park then spot 'them' My cousin and her friends. they look towards us and Bear(my cousin) starts walking over here . "Where's your little boyfriend?"she asks then looks at Jacob. "Jacob? why are you with her?"she asks. "because he can be"I growl.  "don't be rude to me ill tell my Mom"she laughs. "So what the worst she can do is send me back to Illinois"I say and turn around so that im facing Jacob's stomach. "Stop being such a bitch"she says. "Hey she's not being a bitch you are so leave her alone"Jacob growls. "Nah I don't have to she's my cousin I can do anything I want"she says then looks at him. "Oh and I dare you to keep talking to me like that cause I know your secrets"she adds then walks off laughing. Jacobs face hardens and he just glare at where she use to be. I put my hands on his face and force him to look me in the eyes. "Hey calm down"I whisper and his face softens when he looks at me. "I'm sorry"he sighs and I hug him then get up. "I need to get home so bye jacob" I smile. "bye Wait I never got your name"he says looking at me. I just smile and walk off. the next morning I wake up and remember damn today I have school. after I get ready I start walking there. after morning classes it was lunch so I start walking to lunch when someone pushes me down. I nod and he grabs my hand. "You need to meet a couple of my friends lets go"he smiles and drags me to his table. "Hey guys"Jacob smiles. all the guys responded with 'hi Jacob' 'Hey Jacob' or 'sup bro' then they all looked at me. "Who's this?"one with bright blue eyes and brown hair asks. "so you actually have a name I was starting to think you were nameless"Jacob whispers in my ear I smile then look for a place to sit.
