Imagine #2: Hayes Grier, Just Like You

Imagine #2: Hayse Grier, Requested by May. Just like you.

May's POV:

I felt my phone vibrate in my backpack. I looked to see who it was. It was Hayes, my boyfriend. He is being crazy and calling me in the middle of class.

I declined the call.

I texted him, 'Why are ya calling me during class?'

He almost instantly replied back, 'Cause I need to ask you something.'

Me: 'Can't you just wait until class is over?'

Hayes: 'Nope.' I can almost hear him popping the 'P'.

Me: 'Fine what is it?'

Hayes: 'So, I overheard some people talking and they said that there is a carnival at the pier. So, do you want to come with me to the carnival?'

Me: 'Of course. what time will you be picking me up?'

Hayes: '7. Is that okay with you?'

Me: 'yup.'

My teacher called on me. "Miss y/l/n, what do you think you are doing texting in my class?"

I responded by saying "I'm so sorry, it won't happen again."

"It better not May...".The teacher said. Luckily the bell rang signifying that the day was finally over.

Hayes, being the type of guy he is, was already outside my class waiting for me.

"Hey babe." he said and kissed me on the cheek.

"Hey." I said. Hayse took my hand in his and we walked home.

We lived close to our school so we would walk home every day together.

After about 5 minutes of walking in silence I spoke up. " You know you got me in trouble today."

"I did?" He asked. "Did Mrs.y/l/f/t {a/n: your least favorite teacher} tell you to stop texting me in class?"

"Yes. How did you know?" I asked.

"Because Mrs.Robert told me the same thing." He smirked.

"Did you stop?" I asked.

"Nope." He said

“You are such a rebel.” I said jokingly.

“Ha ha, very funny.” he said.

We approached my house. “Well I guess I will see you later tonight then.” I said.

“I guess.” He said mocking me. He gave me a quick but sweet kiss and left.

I went inside my house and b-lined straight to the fridge. What? I was hungry. I got some ice cream and went to my room and watched netflix while eating my ice cream.

Once I finished eating my ice cream and finished the episode of pretty  little liars that I was on I went to my bathroom and started to get ready for my date with Hayes. I pressed play on my docking station and music started to flow. The first song that came on was Hayes and I's song. It was leggo house by Ed Sheeran. This became our song because one day we were driving to the beach and it came on the radio. After the song finished he told me that if I ever needed my pieces picked up he would build a leggy house. And that's how our so g be name our song.

After my shower I dried and waved my hair with my waver. Then I did my makeup. {A/N: this is what she looks like. it's in the multimedia}

After my makeup I went to my closet and picked out a light pink crop top sweater with a pair of light wash jeans and white combat boots.

I looked at the time. It was 7:00. Perfect. Hayes should be here any minute.

Its if my brain knew what was going to happen in the future because Hayes  just rang the doorbell.

I got up and answered it.

“Hey.” I greeted Hayes. He looked me up and down and licked his lips. Boys will be boys, I guess.

“You look amazing!” He said. I came out of the house, turned, and locked the door.

“So do you.” I said and took this time to admire him. He was wearing his red Magcon hoodie with tan cargo pants. And may I say he looked hot!!

We started to walk hand in hand all the way to the beach where the carnival was. You see where Hayes and I live its by like everything. The only thing is that the pier was about 15 minutes away by walking. Thats ok though because I like to walk with him.

“Sooo… how are you liking the new school year?” He asked.

“Are you kidding its terrible. Well not all of it is bad. I got you.” I said and gave him a sideways hug as we still walked.

“Awww babe. I got you to.” He said and put his hand on the small of my back. “You know May, you are what wakes me up in the morning.”

“Well geese if you were trying to make me blush, it worked.” I joked and tried to hide my face.

After about 10 more minutes of walking we arrived. The first thing that caught my eye was the huge stick of cotton candy. My mouth started to water. Hayes must have noticed because we walked over there and got one to share.

"mmmmm why is cotton candy so good?" I said plopping another piece in my mouth.

"Probably because its made of all sugar, just like you." He said. That made my heart melt. Okay that's it he's getting a kiss. I leaned in at put his lips on mine. I felt fireworks burst all through out my body.

Just a few seconds later I pulled away.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you to." He said and gave me a quick peck before grabbing my hand and heading towards a game. " I'm going to win you something." He said.

"Oh really? What?" I asked.

He thought for a moment. "That big teddy bear." He pointed to the biggest bear they had. It was cute how determined he is when it come to winning things for me.

Hayes and I walked up to the man running the booth and the man said "Welcome. What would you like to try to win?" The man asked Hayes.

"That big bear for my girl." He pointed to the bear.

"Okay." The man said. "All you need to do is score more that 30 points then it's yours."

"Sounds good to me." Hayes said. Hayes threw the first ball and it landed in the 15 point cup.

"Only 15 more points then you win!" I told him. He threw it again and the ball landed in the 5 point up. Then he threw his last ball and it landed in the 10 point cup. "You won babe! I'm so proud of you!" I said and kissed him on the cheek. The man gave Hayes the bear, which he gave to me.

"For you malady." He said.

"Why thank you kind sir." I said.

After an hour passed by Hayes and I finally walked past the Farris wheel.

"Hayes! We have to go on it!" I pleaded.

"Of course. Let's go!" He said. There was almost no line so all we had to do was walk through the line of railings. The carnival workers already had a seat ready for us. So all we had to do was hop in.

Hayes let me get in first because if I fell he would catch me. He is just too cute.

Once we were both buckled it the ride started to go up. I got a little nervous so Hayes held my hand and started to run it because he knew that, that is what helps me calm down. Sure enough it did.

It didn't take that long to get to the top at all. And once we did looked into my hazel eyes and kissed me. This was not one of our regular kisses that are only full of one thing. This kiss was filled with passion, love, lust, and a lot of emotion that I could not think of in that moment because in that moment I knew that my Hayes Grier was the one and I'm sure he knew that to.
