Riley and Maya were at the park that day. Auggie was also there playing with Ava. Maya was sitting on a bench looking through her phone. Riley noticed maya and she walked over and at down beside her.
Riley looked over at Maya phone to see her looking at Lucas new post on the top of a building. She then saw Maya turn off her phone and her emotion change.
"Maya?" Riley spoke looking at her. Maya just kept looking straight in front of her.
Riley went on to her phone and saw the comments Maya had left. She sounded scare for him and told him not to do anything stupid. She put her phone away and looked straight ahead like Maya.
"You commented those things because you were scared for him." Riley spoke and Maya had no expression.
"You were worried for him." Riley contiuned on speaking.
"Of course I'm worried, he's our friend and could hurt himself." Maya finally spoke.
Riley Looked at Maya's face.
"You think I like him as a brother, and you're right I do." Riley spoke and Maya Looked at her.
"You stepped back for me Maya. I like him as a brother, no more." Riley contiuned on and Maya still looked at her.
"You were scared for him because you like him." Riley finally spoke and they both let out deep breaths.
"You like him Maya, You like Lucas."
