Starting Anew (BNHA x reader insert) (BEING REWRITTEN + MOVED)

A Deal

I did some editing on some of the previous chapters. It's all very minor except for changing the story to be in second person, though so you don't have to worry. Just don't be alarmed if you see anything is different.

The cell you were staying in shown bright with colour as the sunset from outside the window glowed brightly onto the walls of your current resting place.
You were  currently sleeping in one of the beds until you were woken up with a start.
"Good morning! Get ready to wake up!" You head shot up instantly from the voice that came from outside the cell and just barely processed when you hit her head on the top bunk. "Ow-! Ow ow ow ow.." You whined softly while pressing your dominant hand against your head and wincing a bit from the lingering sting.
Midnight called out once again. "Are you up?" and entered the room to witness you cradling your head in your hand. You uttered a few more soft whines before looking up at the hero.
Now fully able to process the world around you, you greeted the hero with a quick "good morning" before stepping out of bed and stretching to loosen up your stiff muscles. You tiredly smiled at the woman that stood at the far end of the room. "So what's the plan today?" Midnight noticed that you were still in your sweater and jeans that you wore specifically on missions and had an idea. "First off kid, we're going to have a meeting on what we're going to do about you. Secondly.. how about we get you a fresh pair of clothes? We don't really want you to wear the same clothes every day. Plus we found your wallet so we know you can pay for it if you need." You nodded curtly. "Y-yeah. That's okay with me." You trailed off while pressing your cheek against the palm of your hand. The R-Rated hero gushed silently at the unknowingly cute actions. "Follow me to the conference room. We're holding the meeting soon so we might as well come early." She walked off in an unfamiliar direction while you strolled behind her awaiting what was to happen next.

You and Midnight made it to the meeting a few minutes early. Midnight was greeted by a handful of pro heroes and police officers sitting in some of the chairs surrounding a large table. "Um Midnight- is there anywhere in specific that I should sit?" You shyly asked surveying the room and earning a few glances in return. "Just come sit next me to me darling. It's less of a hassle anyway that way." You sighed with relief at being able to sit next to the hero who you were the most comfortable with at the moment. That relief was set short though as Nezu, who was believed to be hosting the meeting walked into the room and sat at the far end of the table. Everyone turned their attention towards the rodent in an instant as soon as his presence was noticed.
"Now that everyone is here the meeting shall commence." The room fell in silence as Nezu briefly reviewed the topic at hand. You were only was able to half listen because your nerves were through the roof at the moment. Your attention was only caught once Nezu picked up a normal looking choker off the table.
"We will use this device to monitor (L/N). It is a tracking device and sensor that looks like a normal black choker. This is perfect for the task since it is discreet but functions quite well. As well as this, the chief of police and I have both agreed that we should send (L/N) to U.A high where she can receive proper schooling and be monitored more closely by the staff there. It's a win win situation for all parties as long as (L/N) herself agrees to this. But, (L/N) will still have to take the entrance exam as well to deter any possible suspicion." You were shocked once more at this statement. Before you could say anything Nezu continued. "There is a catch though. If you do not agree to this, then we have full permission to reveal your identity and put you in prison for your actions. Is that clear miss (L/N)?"
The room fell silent as anticipation crept through everyone's minds until the girl in question spoke up.
"You know you didn't even have to threaten me right? I was going to say yes anyway considering that you are true in saying that it's a win win for all of us.."
A wave of relief washed over the room.
"Then it is settled. (L/N) (Y/N) will be attending U.A. First though, (L/N)?" "Yes sir?" "Could you put this choker on?"
Nezu picked up the choker from the table once more as you walked over to your future principal. He lay the device in your hands before you clasped it around your neck, although not without help from a nearby police officer which was thanked after.
Soon after a female cop with short mint green hair raised her hand as she weaves through a few people to formally meet the girl. "Hi. I am Saka Raki, I have been assigned to take you home today."
"(L/N) (Y/N). Pleasure to meet you Saka. Thank you for offering to take me home."
You two shook hands before leaving the room in quiet conversation as the police officer took you back to your small house.

The two women arrived at the house after a short car ride.
Once the car pulled up in front of the teenagers house, you stepped out of the car and thanked Saka once again. "No problem. It's my duty to help you." The police officer smiled and sat silently in her car once the girl closed the door. She surveyed the home and the girls retreating figure for a few seconds before turning to a walkie-talkie on her uniform. "(L/N) is in her house with no complications." She puffed out a soft laugh with a smirk on her face. "Seems like all villains aren't what we think they are, are they?"
