~ Chapter 3 ~

-- The Principal's POV--

[Two Days Later]

The warm morning sun crawled its rays into my room, and onto my bed. I slowly opened my eyes, not wanting to awaken from my dream. But, as the principal of a school, I had no choice.

I slowly got up and out of bed. I looked out of one of my windows, seeing a few children playing, and some people walking to work. I, honestly, was envious of them. Since I was a Vampire, I couldn't be in the sun for long periods of time, otherwise I would start to get burned. I learned that the hard way, as i had a burn mark on my chest from about 126 years ago.

After a quick shower and some coffee, I heard my personal phone ring. This was unusual, as people usually called from my house phone. I looked for it, confused as to where it was. "That damned thing...." I then realized, it was in my pocket. I may have been 400, but I sure as hell wasn't wise. "Hello? Who are you."

A glitchy voice came through the other end. "A͈̾l͖̍e̿x,̙̋ ̹̓ịͭt̙'̠̅s̬͆ m͒e̗̚."

"James? Why are you calling my personal phone? Is something wrong?" As his half-cousin and fellow Vampire, I was naturally worried.

"I͒ th̬̓i̘ͬn͓̒k̲ ̹̈th̗a̝ͯt͗ ͖̈́m̥at͒h ̭ṱ͛e̼a̟c̪̑h͚̿e̘r̟ͨ,̂ ̀B͇ͮǎl͋di̻mo͚ͪr̝̿e̠ͥ,͕͆ kͨńo̓wͫs ̰̓a͖͌bo̳u͎t ̝o̽u̮͌r̜̃ ̣ͬ"̰śe̤͊c̘ͫrͩe̹ͪẗͅ.͎"

I sighed. After chasing him, threatening him, and wanting to claim him as my own, I wasn't surprised that someone like James would be suspicious. "Well, James, the truth is...." I hesitated slightly. "He... um... he does know. He saw me kill that kid, and i almost killed him."

James was quiet for a second. "B̘u͓t͙ͯ heͭ'͂s̹ ͂n̪o̘͐t de̽ad.ͤ ͅA̟n̒d̮ ̤͆ẗ́h̤a̟̽t'͓ͧs̠ ͕ͥa̝ ͣp͍r̜͋ob̹̋l̏e̠mͭ. I̯f̱ ḥ͆e͈ ̻̃f̮i͈n̫d̰ͤs͓ aͦ ̳w̱̃ä́y̦ tọͣ ͯp̻rov̬́e̔ ̠ẗ̟́h͙͛at ̐w̝̎e͈̿ ̦͒ar̮͛e̤̊ ̏V̒a͗mp̼i̳ͬr̙ͦeͪs,̳ ͔̀wͅe̦'͎ͧlͧl̰̾ ̖̐b̰eͫ ͦk̗ͪiͫl̓l̚e̼d̔ ͌fór̉ ̟̐su͓̇rè.̣ͨ"

"I know, I know. But don't worry, I think I know a way to make sure he keeps his mouth shut." James was silent as he listened to the plan.

-- Time Skip --

The bell rang for lunch, and students dashed down the halls. I tried telling them, "No running in the halls." That clearly didn't work, so I just gave up.

I walk behind some students, but instead of going straight into the cafeteria, I turned right. There, standing outside a classroom, was none other than Baldimore. I could smell his blood from here....

I slowly walked up behind him, thinking of the plan. I grabbed him by the waist, causing him to jump and almost hit me with his ruler. "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" He wasn't even bothered that it was me.

I chuckled. "Just thought I'd say hello to my favorite teacher," I said, trying to sound a bit seductive.

"Piss off, Alex." Now he was bothered. "You know I'm not talking to you after what I saw."

"I know that, Baldi, but-."

He turned to me, an agitated look on his face. "Don't fucking call me that."

I smirked, exposing my fangs. "Would you rather me call you 'sweetie'? Or perhaps 'sexy'?" I grabbed his waist again, pulling him close enough so that he couldn't escape.

"Let me go, you pervert!"

"Tsk, tsk. Now, is that any way to talk to your boss?"

Baldimore tried to grab his ruler from his pocket. "I don't care if you are my boss, you're still perverted!" He grabbed his ruler and hit my hand. But it didn't move.

I moved my face closer to his. "You really think I'm going to release you, Baldi? Because I-." I stopped, hearing footsteps. I immediately let go of Baldimore, who walked away. "So much for the plan," I thought.

Terrance walked around the corner, not noticing me. He was too busy listening to music. I waisted my chance because of one of my own kind?! I felt like an idiot....

Oh well.

I'll just have to get him later.

After all, I did say he would become mine.

And I'll do anything to ensure it.

Anything.
