I woke up feeling a little dizzy. My head was spinning and my eyes hurt when I opened them. It took me a few minutes to realize that I was in my room, on a saturday morning, in april.
As I got out of bed, my eyes stopped on the poster above my desk. I tried to read it but I couldn't understand a word. What ancient language is that? And why do I have this thing on my wall? I sighed and went into the bathroom.

When I was about to open the door to go downstairs, I heard something really strange. Mom just said something that I could not understand, something that I tried so hard to make out, but I couldn't. And I don't know why she said that and to whom, but it was a little scary.
I went into the kitchen, trying to avoid what I just heard and saw my mom, who looked so familiar and at the same time so different. This day is so strange, I thought. I said "hello" to her, but as a response, she looked at me with a confused expression on her face. Then, she said something similar to what I heard on the hallway. It's starting to get really annoying and creepy. An avalanche of words and sounds and things that I could not understand at all started to fall from her mouth and right on myself. I just sat there with a still face, looking at her without understanding a thing, and feeling dizzy again. I tried to say something, but every time i spoke, she looked at me more and more confused. We were the same without realising it, feeling so different and so strange. I looked at her, but I couldn't see my mom, I couldn't understand a word she was saying, I was looking through her, far, far away. The sounds were now like an old tv you turn on just to not feel lonely in the house, just to have something there to make noise. The image was blurry, the words were like coming from a jar, my head was spinning and my knees were weak. Suddenly, it all turned black.
