The Grass Fairies

One

Boom!!! Christine ran as she heard Mr.Dunlop screaming and yelling curses out of anger, when she felt she was far away from the incident she stopped and laughed, she walked so carefree as always, feeling free as usual, other fairies who passed gave her a look of disgust, some avoided eye contact, others just kept on walking, ignoring her. Christine Greene was taken as a the baddest, most stubborn and reckless fairy in Grassy Glade, no one wanted to associate themselves with her and she was happy that way, even children who thought her to be cool and awesome were forced by their parents to avoid her. She was known for her pranks where about 88% of her victims got injured. Her parents were exiled from the kingdom due to treason and she was forced to stay back, she thought that if she couldn't go with them then she'll cause havoc and chaos until they beg her to go and wouldn't and right now things were gradually to plan.

"CHRISTINE GREENE REPORT TO THE TOWN HALL! CHRISTINE GREENE REPORT TO THE TOWN HALL!" echoed the loud speaker which were annoyingly placed all round town. Christine sighed in annoyance and discomfort and flew to the town hall with her wings, she took the opportunity to spit on several mushroom houses, some landing on fairies, she laughed as she flew and didn't see where she was going, she flew straight through the town hall door and landed on her face, "Ow!", she exclaimed, she got up and came face front with the six members of the high council with the queen in the highest seat, a mischievous grin slowly crept onto Christine's face,

"How you doin Queen Lestra or can I call you Lessy", she looked at the Queen and saw her face was straight... as usual,"What do you want? I was about to have a nice long shower, then a hot dinner afterwards but you had to spoil my plans, so I'll ask again, what do you wa..."

"ENOUGH!!!", the Queen interrupted, "Christine you have been nothing but a nuisance in this kingdom and I and the entire kingdom are sick and tired of it, now you are here to make a choice, either contribute to the welfare of this kingdom or pack your bags and get out, we have had enough of your nuisance here and we need to act on that, you have until 8am tomorrow morning to answer, NOW LEAVE!!!",

"But...",

"I SAID LEAVE"

Christine out of annoyance stormed out of the town hall, she flew to her mushroom house which she now sees as her home and she immediately lock the door, she didn't bother changing into her green leaf - made pyjamas forgetting all about her wishes to have a shower and dinner, she got into bed and eventually fell asleep with her last thought being her decision to be made.

Christine stirred awake due to the sound of rummaging in the kitchen, she checked her time and saw that it was past 1am, annoyed that someone disturbed her peaceful sleep she jumped out of bed, grabbed her mushroom made golf club and went to the kitchen and carefully turned on the light, she was ready to attach the intruder when she came face-to-face with who she thought was the most gorgeous and attractive male-fairy she had ever seen, she instantly knew that he wasn't from around here because she knows every fairy in Grass Glade and none could ever have matched his gorgeousness so perfectly, while she was going at him, he took the opportunity to escape, he jumped threw the window and ran, Christine being the kind of person to not let someone go that easily chased after him, they jumped on mushrooms, flew past wild flowers until they reached a very dark thick grassy area that Christine never knew existed, she looked around and saw nothing but grass, she hadn't been looking where she was going and now she didn't know which way she came from or which way she'll leave, she slowly turned around until she saw forms shaped liked fairies in the shadows, she crept closer to get better look, she heard footsteps being her and spun around bt it was too late. THUD!!! and everything went black.
