It was Nate's first day of school. Nate was looking at parents with a confused expression, "Mom! Why don't I have a dad?" I wasn't expecting this, but I know this day would come.
"It's a long story honey, so don't ask about your dad again. I mean you still have mommy.", I said and he nodded. The bell rang.
"Bye mommy! I love you.", he said giving me kiss in the cheek.
"Mommy loves you too. Have a nice day in school!", I said while giving him his lunch bag.
