Today was the day that Alucard will ask her for her hand in marriage. He couldn't get himself to even ask her how she felt about any of it. Every time he looked into her icy blue eyes, he forgot his words and fell silent. Today he had the determination to finally ask her to marry him! He will take her to a speakeasy for some drinks, food, and swing jazz, Starlight's favorite music. Today The Speakeasy Three were performing "When I Get Low, I Get High" and he was excited. he spent the whole day getting ready for this very important date. He went all out, wearing a pinstripe suit with a fedora. Starlight wore a red and black flapper dress with a feather head band. when they had gotten there it was packed with people and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy were preforming there most loved song, " Mr. Pinstripe Suit" while they danced she was smiling and laughing. After the song ended and Starlight's favorite group walked on the stage and Alucard got on his knee and cleared his throat," Starlight, I have known you for a while now and I am completely head over heels for you. Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" The silence was unbearable (no pun intended) . the look on her face worried the entire crowd, it was as if she was going to say no....
