(a/n: i picked steven r. mcqueen as jeremy but you can choose anyone you'd like for this role if he is not who you imagine in your head when reading + my spelling and grammar will be totally wrong so just a warning + my updates will be short but i'll try to update frequently + lots of cursing)
I was awakened by my Aunt Jennie on my first day of school as a senior. I was absolutely fucking dreading it. My dumb ass forgot to put my alarm on and if it hadn't been for her then I probably would have slept through the whole day.
"Why aren't you at work yet?" I asked her, still half-asleep.
"I just got called in late. Now wake your butt up and take a shower. What am I going to do with you Jeremy Rivers if you can't even wake up on your own for school?" she sighed.
My Aunt Jen took me in when my parents passed away in a car accident. I was 5 years old at the time and I was pretty sure I was going to be put into a foster home. Then my aunt that I didn't even know existed showed up and adopted me. She was unmarried and vowed to never have children because she thought she was incapable of raising them but she told me that she fell in love with me the moment she laid her eyes on me. She was a nurse and I admired her for always working so hard because we definitely did not have a lot of money. I told her that I could always get a job but she refused saying that I needed to focus on school. I went to Highridge Academy. It sounded rich even when saying it. One of my parents wishes was to always get me a proper education so my aunt honoured that by using their insurance money when they passed away to pay for me going there. I told my aunt that I could just go to a normal school and we could save some of the money but she refused again. I mean the school wasn't bad at all considering the friends I had and my popularity. Nobody bothered caring about my background.
"It was a one-time thing, I promise." I got up and kissed her cheek while shooing her out the door and telling her to go to work.
"It better be." She said as she left my room.
I took a quick shower doing everything I needed to do and then put on my uniform. My phone buzzed and I checked to see that I got a text from Derek telling me to come outside. Out of all my friends I would say that I was the closest to Derek. He and I met in grade two and we just grew closer while meeting the rest of the guys later on. He was always giving me rides to school because my aunt did not let me take my motorcycle to school saying that it was dangerous.
I ran out the door and saw Derek pull up to the curb in his Ferrari. All of my friends were filthy rich but they didn't care too much about that. That's what I liked about them.
"Hey, thanks for the ride." I said as I jumped into his car.
"Yeah no worries," He smiled. As he started driving he looked at me and then looked down, "You know you forgot your tie, right?" I looked down and knew he was right.
"Shit." I sunk down into the car seat. Having your tie on Mondays was one of the rules of the school. I always forget my tie and knew Principal Hurst will be waiting for me. I know he fucking hated me. I don't blame him. I got into my fair share of fights and troubles around the school.
He chuckled, "Do you want me to turn around?"
"Nah. Fuck it we're going to be late."
"Hurst is going to be on your ass today man."
"I know but it's better than being late."
"If you say so."

We pulled up to the school and just seeing it made me want to run away. I was good in school but due to a certain someone I was always getting in trouble. I just did not want to see his face.
