Hi guys, just a short story for you all. I hope you like it😊😊. Happy reading❤️❤️

The author

The winter carnival is better than ever. I can hear the screaming children on the rides, it's giving me a massive headache although I always scream on rides. I laugh thinking of the Miami trip and how it has my name on it.

But first I'll check out the stalls, play a couple of games in side show alley and eat some food. Ok eat a lot of food.  Looking at all the stalls, full of sweet food, chocolates and cakes and everything else. I grab some fairy floss and sit on some sandstones blocks, munching on it happily. Then I see her. She's gorgeous. Pale with freckles scattered across her nose, her hair glinting  golden in the sunlight. She's smiling. God, she has a gorgeous smile. We make eye contact. She has these bright, mysterious but intelligent blue eyes. Laughing wrinkles line her face.  Mum always told me you know the one when you saw her. I had always scoffed at it but now looking at her I realised it was true.  She is my soulmate.

She's on the move. I have to speak with her or else my soulmate is going to slip right past me. I decide to follow at a distance. It passes my mind that it's stalkerish but I don't really care. I follow her from stall to stall. She's chatting happily with her friends, not realising she is moments away from meeting her soulmate, me.  I wish she'd just hurry up and say hello. I'm getting bored following her, she's obviously not going to say hi. I was going to have to do something radical.

I was going to have to talk to her first. I was annoyed that I had to do that, she should have realised her soulmate was following her. I mean who wouldn't feel my presence, then have to  talk to me, I was smart and handsome and strong. To name a few qualities about me. But I had to wait for the right moment to talk to her. I didn't want her friends swooning over me as I talked to her. It wouldn't make her feel good. Plus I wouldn't want to get the other girls hopes up. I was taken.

I step closer, I can hear them talking. Then the girls disperse leaving my soulmate alone. This was my chance. And I was going to pounce on it. I stretch my muscles and strut over to her.

'Hey,' I croone

She looks me up and down

'Hey,' she mutters rolling her eyes.

Oooooo. Sassy. I like them sassy. They have a deep fire within their souls. sassy girls always make me feel good.

'M'a names Archie,' I say puffing out my chest.

Girls are usually swooning by now. Why isn't she all over me?

'I rode a horse called Archie once,' she smiles.

A horse rider. Really! My soulmate is a horse rider. That sucks I would prefer a model  although they can die in the sport so are really passionate and feisty. Did I say I like them fiesty.

She stares at me, coolly

'I'm Ciel' she says matter of factly

'See elle' I repeat the the pronunciation

She rolls her eyes again. I love her already. She will be so great to add to my life of girlfriends. The trophy next to all the medallions.

'Did you know I work out everyday for like 4 hours. And I get like good grades at school like As and like Bs. Oh I also have like a 12 pac so yeah!' I boast

She raises one eye brow, rolls her eyes and scoffs

'Sure'

I am in love. She could do so many things to me. I knew it was time to bring out the soulmate card

'You're my soulmate. I can feel your presence next to me. You could do some good things to me like..'

'I don't want to know' she glares at me

I take a step back

'Ouch' I mutter jokingly but it doesn't help the situation. But my humor always helps them situation. Ooo she's a fighter.

'First of all soulmates don't exist' she snaps

'I thought that too then I saw you!' I croone to her like a little child.

She just wasn't understanding, that she was meant to be with me. I didn't care if she didn't want to, she was going to be with me no matter what.

'Second of all I don't want to be your soulmate or even be with you!'

I scoff, 'why!'

'Because you're a stuck up dickhead!" She shouts.

I feel the rage creeping through my body but I calm myself down

'I like my girl fiesty' I lower my voice, 'you are going to be my girlfriend no matter what'

'No'

'What did you say?' I hiss

'I said no!' She replies

She's glaring at me now, unbridled rage evident in her eyes. I gasp as a tingling pain etched across my face. Burning under my skin. She's she's she's slapped  me across my face. No girl ever does that, never ever can they resist me. EVER!

'The answer is no. Now get away creep!' She hisses, 'don't think I didn't realise you following me. If you even look at me again I will tell a carnival official and you will face consequences!'

And then she stalks away. My soulmate left me, a girl resisted me, I was slapped by a GIRL and it HURT, and I was given a very serious threat. As much as I'm angry, in pain and shocked, there's a deep sadness in my heart. I loved her, she was my soulmate. I turn around, ooooo, there was another girl, with long blonde hair and dark green eyes wearing a short shorts and a croptop. Maybe Ciel wasn't my trophy girl after all maybe this gorgeous lady was.
