I slowly awoke from my deep sleep, I stretched my body, from my fingertips to my toes, then I slowly rolled around. This cannot be real. My eyes landed on the most exotic man who had ever crossed my way; he was sound asleep, his bare muscular chest lightly heaving up and down, it looked so smooth, I was almost compelled to nestle up to him. He snored lightly.
He had thick, bushy brows and the longest eyelashes I had ever seen, a slender, almost European looking nose, and full pink heart shaped lips. His hair was short, thick and deeply waved, with a perfect line up and his skin was a deep reddish tone, almost that of a Native American. I wonder what race this man was. Actually, I wondered who this man was.
I turned my back to him again and then I began to sit up. Where are my clothes? What happened last night? Where is Deena? I need to get up out of here. A million thoughts went through my head in a split second. As I placed my feet onto the ground, the plush cream colored carpet greeted my feet. For the first time since waking up I took in my surroundings. The room I was in had far too many personal touches to be a hotel room.
African American artwork adorned the walls, the plush carpet covered the entire room, a flat screen was suspended on the wall directly in front of the bed and the book shelf on the opposite side held not only a vast selection of novels, but a few photos as well...photos of children, photos of a family, photos of this man and a plain looking woman...who was wearing a ring...and he was wearing a ring too.
I gasped, I had just slept with a married man.
