"I should go and check on Hoseok again in case he needs any help." Namjoon said fiddling with his fingers anxiety clearly showing.
"Or we can both sit here and I can carry on doing nothing and you can take a well deserved break." I said leaning back in my chair stretching.
"As much as that sounds like a good idea I have to make sure that everything's on time since the show is getting closer so I can't." He explained starting to get up which caused me to grab his arm and pull him back down.
"So you don't wanna spend time with me." I said a sweetly as I could hand still on his arm gently pulling on it like a persistent child.
"Y/N..."
"Please Namjoonie Oppa~" I said blinking repeatedly trying to go for the failed cute look.
"Fine... just stop with that face it looks like you have something in your eyes." He said in a defeated, exhausted voice.
"My pupils?" Was all I said and like that he face planted the table letting out a groan at my bad joke.
"Sorry Namjoonnnnn. So how's it going?" I asked casually.
"Well it's going..." Was all he said, head still on the table.
"Okay. We're going for a walk around the campus." I said getting up and grabbing both of our bags.
Namjoon said "I got it." Quickly and grabbed both bags for me.
"I can carry-"
"It's fine let me carry it for you. I want too."
We both kept walking in silence for a few minutes until I noticed Namjoon was still playing with his hands even tho one of them was full because of a bag.
I held my hand out and he stopped and raised a eyebrow.
"You can either give me my bag or your hand because you carrying the bag and playing with your own hands isn't working out." I said in a stern but kind voice.
Namjoon moves his head as if to ask are you sure to which I just nodded as he early took my hand.
His hand was giant in comparison to mine.
"Thank you Y/N..."
"What for?"
"Distracting me from my problems."
I quickly turned to look at him and saw the mischief in his smile.
I gave him a quick dig in the arm then said "You make it sound like a bad thing."
All he did was laugh then pulled me closer to him, after that we just walked around hand in hand until Namjoon didn't look like he was going to break down in tears.
Even leaders have a hard time.
