MINA.
Chaeng and I are secretly glancing at each other, completely clueless on what is going on right now. I mean, we're just witnessing our families who are supposedly 'rivals', happily having a conversation in our living room after eating dinner together.
After having my thoughts, I gained all my courage to raise my right hand, getting their attention, "I-I'm sorry for interrupting, but I-I just want to ask something."
Father raised an eyebrow, "what is it, Mina?" They all turned their head to me, making me more nervous.
"I'm sorry for asking this, but there's a feud between you two, right?-- I mean, Chaeyoung and I can't understand om what's happening right now," I asked, making our parents laugh. I just shrugged it off, and shutted my mouth again.
"Mina," I shockingly turned my head on Chaeng's father, "y-yes?" I asked, but he did not answer me and just gave me a warm smile. I shyly looked down.
"Chaeyoung," it's my father's voice, oh my goodness. I think I should do something. My mind is really panicking right now.
I glanced at Chaeyoung, who's sweating hard,"y-yes, sir?" He asked, stuttering. "Take good care of our princess, understood?"
"I-I will, sir," I heard Chaeng replied.
I raised my head, giving dad a questioning face.
"Just so you know, Minho and I already talked about things," Chaeng's father said, suddenly.
"And we decided to stop this feud. Besides, it's been decades, and we're literally tired of it," they completely answered all the questions I have in my mind.
"And if the both of you won't mind, we would like to witness your wedding. Is it alright for the both of you, to marry again?" Chaeng's mother asked the both of us.
"OF COURSE!" We both said in unison.
I'm really happy right now, I can't hide my tears anymore. It started falling on my cheeks.
I stood up, and went to my dad and to mom who's beside him, then hugged the both of them really really tight, "t-thank you mother, father. This is the best news ever," I said in between my sobs.
When we parted, I saw Chaeng behind me. I turned to him, and quickly hugged him.
We parted, but I stiffened on his sudden move. He kissed me, in front of our families. I felt his soft lips pressing into mine.
I placed my arms on his nape, deepening our kiss. Forgetting about the people around us.
"EHEM!" We quickly parted, and looked on who faked cough. It was dad.
I blushed really bad, I am so ashamed. I pursed my lips before apologizing.
"I-I'm-- we're sorry."
