It has officially been six months since I moved to the Isle with mom. Six months I've kept myself locked in my room because I refuse to associate myself with these people. I didn't even know why she made me move here. This was a place for villains. Evil people. Not us.
I wasn't a princess, far from it. My mom was Wendy Darling. I'm not sure who my dad is, but that's okay. From what I now, he was a good man. He fought in the war. Died there too. I don't have memories of him but mom has pictures.

It was a normal day, nothing out of the ordinary. I laid across my bed, reading a book. It was a nice day out so I had the windows open. My room reflected the blue I had everywhere. I was always obsessed with the sea, so blue was naturally my favorite color. The book I was reading had me so captivated, I didn't even hear the knocking on my windowsill. I didn't hear the boots walk across my floor. I just barely felt the weight of another body settling on my bed.

"Whatcha readin' there?" The sound of a male voice made me jump and I fell off my bed. "Woah, are you okay?" He asked. I huffed and frowned, sitting up. "I think the better question is, are you nuts?! You don't sneak into a random girls room!" I scolded. The boy just chuckled and smirked. "Your window was left open." He stated. I was speechless at his words and I shook my head. "That doesn't matter! Ugh, forget it." I ran a hand through my hair, sighing.

"What's your name?" I asked him. He jumped up and smirked again, bowing jokingly. "The name's Harry Hook, lass. Son of the glorious Captain Hook." He stood back up only to see my horror stricken face. "What?" He was genuinely confused and I just couldn't find words again.

"You're Captain Hooks son?" I finally squeaked out. "Yeah, why-?" He was cut off as I started shoving him towards the window. "You have to get out of here! My mum-" I froze when I Heard footsteps outside my door. "Sarah, darling, who are you talking to?" I heard her call through the door. "Just my book again, mom!" I nervously yelled back. "Well, keep it down please, I have guests!" She walked away and I sighed in relief.

"Sarah as in... Sarah Darling? Wendy Darling's daughter?" Harry rose an eyebrow, smirking yet again. "No!" I exclaimed. He just stared me down until I sighed. "Yes..." "Of all the people's window I could've climbed in, I chose my fathers rivals daughter." He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair. It was only then I'd noticed he took off his hat.
I stood there awkwardly, shuffling my feet. "Will you just leave?" I asked. He sighed but headed towards the window. "I'll be back, princess." He slipped out. "I'm not a princess!" I yelled at him. He just walked away, laughing. I huffed and turned back around to my bed.

There it sat.
He left his hat.

A/N- Welp that was only 525 words. The chapters will start to get a little bit longer, I just suck at writing the first few chapters. This isn't going to be an immediate romance either, it might take a hot minute or two... I hope you guys enjoy it!
