As the music enters Jimin's ears, he counts the beats until the practiced choreography begins. A performing arts high school and college, two places that sculpted him into the person he presented the world to. The song he chose was Yoongis' track titled, The Last. A song that he had been drawn to since the first time he heard it.
"Depression, OCD, they keep coming back again from time to time," he hums the lyrics, his movements following the beat behind the meaningful words that he naturally felt drawn to. You'd think that he'd choose one of his boyfriends' songs, like Blue side or Piece or Peace. But he didn't connect to those songs like he did with this one in particular.
"At times I'm scared of myself too," Jimin continues, "Self hated and thanks to the depression that takes over me."
And then the music slowly fades, and to whoever might be watching Jimin practice from afar, is absent to his thoughts.
