Chapter 1

There he was . The boy that broke my heart a month ago . I won't forget what he did that day , on November 16th .
I watch him smile through my frost-covered windows . What does he want from me ? Whatever it is , I will never accept it . It's just not worth a second
try . I turn and notice his eyes .
His eyes on mine are as cold as ice . They show a bit of darkness inside . And his voice . It's the same as before . I can hear him scream my name through the window " KAYLA !! KAYLA !! KAYLA ! " . I don't know
what he wants . He's scaring me .
I run to my bedroom and get into bed . I pull the covers up and suddenly start crying . Why would he come back to me ! TO ME ! He's got a new girlfriend , I'm sure , so why come bother me for some stupid reason ? Whatever it is , I really don't want to hear it .
I'm just tired of what he did . Lied that he loved me . All he wanted was to see me beaten and broken .
Boys like that have no heart . They're ..... how do I say .... evil .
I can hear footsteps coming from my front door . I guess Caitlin is home . My feet slowly shuffle out of my messy bed and out to the old kitchen .
There , I see Caitlin with a few groceries. I notice her bare , frost covered hands . . " Hey , Kayla . I saw Josh outside . He told me he wants to apologize " . He wants to APOLOGIZE ?! No , no , no !
That will never happen .
" Ok , please tell him to fuck off . Thanks ! " , I answer .
" Kay . You should say that " , She reply's .
" Uuuggghh fine " , I say .
"Hey have you been crying ? " .
"Yes ..... " .
"Aww Kayyyy " .
" Can I tell you what he did ? " .
"Yep . You can trust me for that " .
"Thanks a lot " .
" No problem . I'm here for you always " .
Right after Caitlin says that , the door flows open and he's standing right there , with a psychotic grin on his face .
"Hello , babe " .
