“Spill the beans, Evans!”
I groan and roll my eyes, while I walk in our apartment, practically hugging the pizza box to myself.
“Give me a moment to breathe!” I exclaim in mock frustration and head towards the kitchen, hearing Amanda’s footsteps behind me.
“Were they kind? Cruel? Cold? Kind-hearted?”
“Jeez, chill out, will you? They were really nice and funny. I think they liked me a lot!”
Amanda fans herself and pretends to fall over “Success” She says with a wicked grin. “This means we’re going out tonight”
“Is it necessary to remind me every two seconds? I still get a headache when I remember the hangover from last time” I huff, while getting two plates from the cupboard and place them on the table.
“Stop with your whining, it was fun!” Amanda opens the beer cans and hands one at me.
“It was” I can do anything but agree, because actually it was fun –well before the hangover.
“Who else is coming?” I ask after taking a large sip of my cool beer.
“Oh you know the usual ones.” Amanda shrugs and opens the pizza box, inhaling deeply.
“Yummy. Yay for the full-with-calories-pizzas!” I shout and take three slices and walk to the living room with my plate and beer
“You are unbelievable” Amanda laughs and plops on the couch, her feet on it, supporting the plate
“Why thank you, I’ve been told.” I murmur and take a bite of the delicious pizza. It’s actually so mouthwatering and I really can’t resist to another bite, even though I haven’t even chewed on the first one.
“Easy there pizza lover. The food doesn’t go anywhere, relax. I don’t want you chocking on my couch! They’ll blame me” Amanda pouts, yet she can’t hide a wicked smirk.
I roll my eyes and sip some beer “Wow, I can feel the love, thanks.”
“You’re welcome” I hear the distracted mumble and turn around to see Amanda’s eyes staring directly out of our window.
“What is it? I ask curiously, leaning over to look outside.
Holy fucking cow.
After almost one year of being single, someone would say that I can drool over a hot guy easily. No. No. He is definitely NOT just a hot guy. He is THE HOTTEST GUY I HAVE EVER LAID EYES ON.
As I looked out of the window, I understood perfectly well what Amanda was practically gaping at. Just outside our window, slowly jogging on the pavement was the sexiest man in the world.
His muscular chest was exposed to the soft breeze as he was wearing no t-shirt at all, his biceps curved so perfectly fine. As he jogged lazily, his brown, fair hair fell over his sparkling, so deep blue eyes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such electrical blue eyes in my whole life. I could stare at them for hours.
While he passed in front of our house, I saw his back muscles clench when his elbows moved back and forth and suddenly I had a strange desire to run my nails down these broad shoulders.
Wow, get a fucking grip, Melanie.
I saw him walking across the road and heading to the twenty-floor building opposite our house.
He is a neighbor! YES!
My subconscious hugged herself in glee and overwhelming joy, daydreaming about the sexy beast who happened to be our neighbor.
