1-He's back.
Everything has changed over the summer, including me. For the better obviously. I'm not that type of person that changes themselves so people can like me or whatever. Personally, I just changed for myself. I felt like I was too much. Looking back at my old self, I tried too hard. Sometimes trying is the wrong thing to do. How? Because it's pushing too much. Let things flow. Most things happen naturally.
Oh by the way, my name is Valentina, I'm Argentinian, and I'm 16 years old. I have thick, long, curly hair that's brown and is so dark it looks black, and I'm 5'1. Now that you kind of know me and my features, we should get back to the story.
I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed and stop instantly when I see Julian's instagram post of him and his toned abs on the beach. I obviously had to like the photo.
"Damn" I whispered. Honestly his body is perfect. Everyone loves him. I don't get why though. He's hot, trust me. It's just his attitude. He's rude and disrespectful. Plus I don't get why people in this town even care about him still. He doesn't even live here anymore. It's been 3 years since he left!
You might be wondering why I care so much but that's because we used to be friends. We were best friends actually. Until 4th grade. Our elementary had one all boys class and same for the girls. If you got in either of those classes, it's like a dream come true. Everyone wanted to be in those classes. And luckily I got in the all girls class and obviously he got in the all boys class. We faded and that was that. Also I stopped talking to him because he changed so much. Fifth grade was the same thing. All girls and all boys. We could have gotten closer because these two classes would hang out all the time. But my ex best friend, Kylie, had to ruin everything. She liked him. So she went up to him, told him that she liked him and they started 'dating'. It only lasted for a week but still, that was rude of her. I stopped being her friend because she went crazy on me and tried to get me jealous of her. She talked behind my back and I didn't like that. Who would!? So I went up to her one day while we're going to class and I slapped her. Luckily the teacher didn't see. The only problem was that everyone took her side. Nobody cared that she talked about me and that she hurt my feelings. It did hurt. But then after like three weeks nobody cared. That's how drama is. Anyways to speed this up, she left in sixth grade, I had a new best friend, in 8th grade Julian moved to Atlanta, Georgia which I'm surprised sense he's a boujee white boy. But that was it. After that I had a normal life I guess. Great friends and a fun life living on an island.
Then I noticed something as I looked closer on my phone. The location says Hilton Head, South Carolina on his picture. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion and looked at the caption. My eyes go wide.
'Glad to be back.'
