My life story with Michael Clifford

~ Chapter 3 ~

It was the day of my town's fair and Michael had promised to take me, I was incredibly excited because it had been a couple days since I'd seen him. I was starting to develop some very strong feelings these past couple of weeks, I wasn't sure if Michael felt the same or not, but I was really hoping he did. I was straightening my hair when I received a text "Hey love, I'll be there in 30 minutes" I smiled as I read the text and quickly replied back. I finished straightening my hair, and was dressed and ready to leave. A knock sounded at the door and I got up to answer if seeing Michael's smiling face, I returned the smile "You ready?" He asked, "Yes! Deffinatley" I said excitedly and he smiled, I gabbed my coat and walked outside shutting the door on my way. My Mom knew where I was going and she was at a friends at the moment so I didn't have to tell her again.

We got to the fair in 15 minutes, and Michael and I had bought our tickets and went on many rides, it was getting dark. "Want to go on the farris wheel?" he asked, I smiled and nodded, I loved the farris wheel it was always so fun. We got in line and after a short wait we were in a cart and getting closer to the top, I felt it slow down and we had stopped at the top, I looked over at Michael to find him already looking at me, he grabbed my hands and I smiled even more than I already was he slowly leaned in and I did the same, soon enough his soft lips were on mine as he kissed me I felt butterflies times 100,000,00 in my stomach and I smiled in the kiss, I felt him smile back, we kissed for what felt like a very long time but must have not been very long, the ride started again and we leaned back into our seats still holding hands, looking out at the view "Isn't it beautiful?" I said quietly "Not as beautiful as you." he said I smiled and felt my cheeks burn red I looked down trying to hide my blushing face and Michael chuckled "Anna I've been wanting to ask you something since I met you." I looked up and met his gaze, I wasn't sure what he was about to say but he continued to talk "And Anna will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me and I smiled as big as I could I nodded "Michael of course I will." I said and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.

It's been three years since I met Michael and I was more in love with him than ever, I couldn't even explain my feelings for him. It was our 3 year anniversary since he had asked me to be his girlfriend and every year since then we went to the fair on the day he asked me to be his girlfriend and shared a kiss on the top of the farris wheel. I was finished getting ready and I heard a knock at the door knowing it was Michael I got my stuff and left my room, I opened the front door and gave Michael a hug almost instantly "Hey, you ready to go?" He asked smiling, I nodded and shut the door behind me, we walked down my driveway lacing our fingers with each others and continued our walk to the fair.

We'd been at the fair for about an hour and we made our way towards the farris wheel, I noticed Michael being a bit fidgety and nervous over something, he kept checking his pockets for some reason, "Hey, what's up?" I asked puzzled and a bit worried, he turned to me "What? Nothing." He said quickly and I just shook it off not wanting to start anything and knowing he'd tell me if there was something wrong. We waited in line for a bit then got seated in a cart, Michael whispered something to the attendant running the ride I didn't hear, but let it go putting it with his weird actions tonight. I looked at the attendant and he just smiled and the ride started. For the third year the ride stopped at the top, I had been looking over the side enjoying the view, when I turned toward Michael he looked more nervous than ever "Are you okay?" I asked him he smiled and nodded. He grabbed my hands and instead of leaning in for the kiss we shared every year he started talking "Anna I've known you for three years, and those three years have been the best years of my life. I can't begin to explain the feelings I have for you and I don't want to live my life without you, I couldn't live my life knowing you were with a different guy, and Anna I love you so much-" he paused his speech to pull out a small black velvet box I gasped and felt the tears I had in my eyes from his beautiful speech slip down my face "Anna Will you marry me?" He asked opening the box revealing a gorgeous silver ring with a diamond in the middle, I was speechless I couldn't even reply I just nodded and smashed my lips on his with so much passion it hurt and he kissed me back, he leaned his forehead on mine "I'll take that as a yes?" He said chuckling "Of course Michael, I love you so much." I said another tear falling down my face Michael reached up and wiped it away the same way he did on our very first date. We got off the ride, hand in hand, mine with my new ring on my ring finger. We received an applause from everyone in line and the people around us that had been watching the scene. I smiled and turned to Michael and we shared another kiss.
