Katerina P.O.V
*Katie heard crashing behind her and turned in horror to see wolves from her old pack on her tail. She turned back around and gave one last shove of her hind legs before landing, panting, on the other side of the territory lines. She looked over her shoulder to see the wolves lurking, not crossing until they got alphas permission. Taking her chance, she ran.*

I woke up with a start, jolting upright and gasping as I remembered the awful dream. I clutched at my chest to calm myself, slowly standing up and stretching. It had been almost a week since I had run away from my pack, and I was still moving steadily farther from the territory. I had stayed at this log cave for the past 2 nights, thinking up a plan of what to do once I reach the town that I know is close by. I slowly crept out of the log cave I called home and shifted into my wolf. My parents and friends had admired my wolves glossy silver coat, but I hated it. It stood out, and it was the reason I had been trapped at my old pack in the first place. I carefully made my way down the steep hill to the stream below, and dipped my muzzle in, lapping at the cool, clear water. I lifted my head, muzzle dripping, and started in the direction of the town. I walked for a few hours, admiring the beauty of the land around me before I felt the land even out under my paws and realize I had made it to the town. I didn't want to go in as my wolf, but I couldn't shift into my human because I had no clothes. My wolf, Calamity whispered something in my head
'Be careful, there is another wolf pack nearby'
'Thanks' I thought back, glad to have Calamity back. The beta of my old pack had given me an injection to make Calamity weaken, so she could not speak to me for awhile. It was good to have her back now that I was entering the town, because she could sense other werewolves before I could. I slowly crept forwards, keeping low to the ground as I slipped from shadow to shadow. The only good thing about my odd looks were that if I concentrated hard enough, my fur would change to match my surroundings, but it took so much energy I almost never did it. Once I found a safe place to hide, I curled up, preparing to sleep.
'I'll keep watch while you sleep' Calamity said
'Thank you Calamity, you are the best wolf anyone can ask for'
'Of course I am! Were you hinting that I wasn't?' She joked
'Oh no great one, I would never dare to think of you as anything less than all powerful and better than everyone else' I grinned cheekily at her
'You bet your fine @$$ I'm all powerful' she stated before cutting off the link. I grumbled about her being an insolent twit before closing my eyes and drifting off to an uneasy sleep.
