(Y/n) POV
I woke to a new day in my room at the ranger base. I still keep thinking about my crush on Ratchet ever since I noticed it the other night, but things seemed to do alright here. I got to know the rangers more, and helped Elaris with her projects. I start to notice Qwark's suspicions on me when I did the expelliarmus charm, and him getting cowardly frightened. Right now I 'm just browsing the tv to see what's on. When I came across the news. "Breaking news!" "Dallas Wanamaker here and we got some breaking news an attack in Aleero city has happened by remaining war bots from Drek industries we advised citizens of Aleero to stay in their homes until further notice." That's when I heard the alarms blaring. Knowing it has begun. I exited the room to the front of the hall of heroes to see a ship with war bots coming down to the entrance while the people hide behind the pillars. The rangers were already here to fight when they noticed me at the scene. "(Y/n) what are you doing here?" "I wanted to see what's going on." "You have to get to cover." Ok." I got to cover before they start shooting. I watched as the scene unfolds as they use their weapons when I see the leader watching the army attack, and command when they notice me. I was going to make a run for it, but they caught me by the collar of my shirt,and I know they were going to keep me hostage. "Surrender rangers if not this one will get hurt." The leader put a laser near my neck they looked at me with worry when I cautiously pulled out my wand, and said confringo the blasting curse causing them to hit the wall, and look at me. They retreat while the remaining are left behind to be destroyed. I was on the floor lying there when I was offered a hand by someone, and it was Cora. "You did well rookie." "Thanks." I was given a pat on the back when the crowd of people, and news team arrived. Some asked questions of who I am. "This is Juanita Alvaro from vox news ( I couldn't find out the news station so I 'm putting it on the original a little bit) and I was wondering if you by any chance a recruit for the galactic rangers?" "Yes yes I am." "And would you mind telling us your name." "It's (y/n)." "There you have it folks we have our new galactic ranger." The people cheered as you were lifted. When they left you were about to head to your room when you hear someone calling your name. "Hey (y/n)." I turn around, and it was Ratchet "I was wondering if you wanted to tell me more about your years at school." "I would love to tell you more of my experiences at Hogwarts." We got into conversation when I ask him something "Ratchet I was meaning to tell you what are you I 'm not trying to be rude or anything I 'm just curious." "Well I 'm a lombax." "A lombax?" I said thinking curiously of his species. "Well it's kinda like a species that hasn't been seen for a while I was found on veldin when I was just a baby no name, no message, and I've been raised ever since." "I'm sorry that has to happen to you I understand what it felt like." "It's ok sometimes I always wonder why I was there in the first place." "Well when I first came into the wizarding world I knew I was'nt going to fit in till I befriended them they taught me everything there is to know about how to adapt to a place I 'm not familiar with." "Thanks for understanding (y/n)." "Your welcome Ratchet." We continue on with our chat till it was time to head back to our rooms to sleep. I said goodnight then changed into sleep wear then started to think that this crush has turned into something more love I decided to think on that later now I went to bed into my land of slumber.
