*Austins pov*
I walked into the gym with the guys. We were about to go play soccer so we went and changed in the locker room into shorts and our cleats and then we headed outside. We were about to go on the field but we saw someone already there.
It was a girl practicing and there was a guy with her but he was being goalie. Me and the guys watched her for a minute in awe as she made every single shot on him, the ball going in the corner each time.
She had a good strategy, and an even better kick. Me and the guys were all amazed. Then I see the guy stop. He takes off his gloves and he picks his phone up off the ground from beside the goal and answer it.
He hangs up and tells the girl something and he leaves. She waves goodbye and goes to get a drink out of her water bottle. Then she goes back but this time practicing dribbling and shooting. (Btw if you don't play soccer or don't know that dribbling is just running with the ball basically)
Me and the guys stop standing there and decided to go see if she wanted to play a short game with us. We walked up to where she was and when we got there she was running up to take a shot.
Not surprised considering she made all the others, she made it in this time more in the center since there was no goalie. She turned around and jumped not knowing we were there. She smiled and looked up and said "hey guys" nicely and in a sweet voice. "Hey we were wanting to know if you'd wanna play a game with us?" Nick asked the girl.
"Uh yea sure I would love to" she said happily. "Oh yea sorry my names (Y/N)" she said holding out her hand for him to shake. "Well I'm Nick" he said shaking her hand "and that thing over there is Austin" he said pointing to me causing (Y/N) to let out a small laugh causing me to smile.
"Him with the colorful hair is Edwin, there is Brandon with the glasses, and then lastly there's Zion" he said pointing each of them out. "Nice to meet you guys" she said still smiling. We all told her the same and she said "so since there's six of us whose gonna be the teams?" She asked.
Nick decided and he got Edwin and Zion and (Y/N) got me and Brandon. Since there was only six of us we played with no goalie or no certain positions for us to play on the field.
We started the game us having the ball. As we were running down the field I had control of the ball. I passed it to (Y/N) and not a shocker, again she made it. We were almost done with the game us winning when Nick tried to steal the ball and we both tripped.
I landed on my ankle but I think Nick was good. I sat on the ground for a second before trying to get up holding my ankle. I tried to stand up but my ankle hurt too much and I fell back down. The ball rolled off and I think Zion had it now but I wasn't paying attention.
Then I heard (Y/N) tell them to wait. She jogged over to me and got on her knees. "Are you ok that looked like a nasty fall" she asked nodding to my ankle. I shook my head no and said "I can't stand on it" (Y/N) sat on the grass and said "let me see it" Nick looked at me and said "should we call someone"
She was feeling my ankle and looking and suddenly I felt a sharp pain and winced when she pressed it. "Sorry" she said looking at me "you're good" I assured.
(Y/N) spoke up and said "no you don't need to call anyone he just twisted, it I got some ace wrap in my bag if you want I can wrap it up real quick" she looked at me then up at the guys who were now surrounding us.
"Uh yea thanks" I smiled. "Ok I'll be right back" she said standing up jogging to her bag. "Dang" Zion said watching her jog away. "Yea" I said commenting to Zion. "Hey she seems nice maybe she'll wanna chill sometime" Brandon said all of us nodding in agreement.
She came back and quickly wrapped my ankle and she helped me up. It felt a little better to where I can walk but with a limp. She grabbed her bag and walked with us to the car. Before I got in I said "uh me and the guys thought you were pretty cool and wondered if you would wanna chill sometime" I said to her nervously.
She smiled and said "yea that would be great" so she gave me her number and we left. I texted her and said "so, when do you wanna hang out" she replied second later with "anytime is fine with me (: " I smiled the rest of the way home thinking about her.
I think I'll make a part 2 of this🤷♀️ should I?
