Part 12

"Wow. So you can clearly see everything around you now?" He asks.

"Yeah..." I answer shyly

"Guess I'll be hanging around you for a different reason then." He says winking and pulling me close to him.

He puts one hand on my cheek and the other on my hip and kisses me.

"Getting kissed with vision is WAY different than when your blind." I say, which makes him laugh.

"How so?" He asks

"When your blind, you don't see it coming!" I say as the bell to start the day rings.

"Oh yay. Class." He says annoyed.

"Yay class!" I say cheerfully.

We both walk to class and meet Mary at the entrance of the school building.

"Jessica!! Just the person I was looking for!" She says grinning and jumping up and down.

"Hi Mary." I say smiling and catching her as she flies at me.

"You can see!" She says excited. "Tell me... Is this dress cute on me!?" She says showing me the dress she's wearing.

"Yes! Absolutely!" I say feeling the fabric. Obviously used to being blind.

"Yay! I was scared you wouldn't like it." She says doing an eyes closed, big smile.

"Your absolutely beautiful in it!" I say grabbing her hands.

She blushes and grabs my hands back. "Let's get to class before we're late!" She says finally.

All three of us race down the hallway and around loitering people that are either checking lockers, of trying to skip class and finally reach our classroom.

When we walk in, the first thing I hear Mary shout is:

"Ms teacher!! Jessy can see!!'

The teachers jaw almost drops to the ground and looks at me, as I hit my head on the desk.

"R-Really??" She asks after her jaw finally comes back to her.

"Yeah..." I say turning away.

"Wow... Amazing." The teacher says.
