Final Warning: This story contains potential manga spoilers up to chapter 192. Reader is in an implied relationship with Dabi.

The heavy door of the rooftop opened slowly, just above the League's hideout and below a speckled sky. The cool night air hits your face.

Dabi was sitting on the edge of the roof, looking at the sky and appeared to be thinking deeply about something.

Crunch. You plopped the favorite kind of chips in your mouth. Dabi gave you a glance. You took it as a sign of invitation to sit next to him, your legs swinging freely while he was more still, still deep in thought.

You pushed the bag of chips in his side. No reaction. Slightly annoyed probably. He didn't want some. Does Dabi hate food or something? If he did, you and he would have some real problems together.

Sighing, you curled backward and put your head in his laps. You glared at you, looking a bit surprised. Despite being a villain who killed many in dark alleyways (and recently trying to kill a certain number one hero,) Dabi was quite tolerant of you. Perhaps because of the relationship you built with him in your short time together. You always have read through him, and sassed him more than he did sass you. There was always more to him then meets the eye, and each time he opened up, just for a bit, you could feel yourself smile. Smiling was rare for villains, after all. Unless you're insane, like that Toga girl.

You shook that girl off your mind and focused on the task at hand. You pushed a single chip out of your bag to his lips. No reactions.

"Eat it." You say, a bit frustrated. "Please." After a few pokes, he gave in and bit into it.

You laughed, "Want some more, Touya~?"

Dabi's slow swaying stopped. His eyes widen. He tensed up, gripping the cement hard. The muscles under his jaw tightened, making you see his scars clearly.

"Who- How did you know? How long?" He said in a half-shout.

You turned your head to the streets below, staring at a blank spot, obviously not wanting to look at him, "I was researching the Todoroki family. And one of the cases I had... I kept thinking of you.

You dyed your hair, refused to reveal your name, your quirk... everything matched up. You gave me a lot of hints."

You look at his face. To be honest, it was a wild guess on whether it was actually Touya or not. Dabi could have been a hundred things else, but you didn't expect to actually be Touya.

He was silent.

Until he slammed his fist on the cement. Dabi started breathing quietly, erratically. His eyes widen.

"I hate him. I hate him. I hate him so. God-damn. Much."

You listened, clearly feeling the same way. You were a villain and Endeavor was a hero after all,  "I... I hate him too. I can't believe he's the number one."

Suddenly gaining courage you face him, his eyes were icy. But you can tell it wasn't for you. "Dabi, I know you didn't have a great life. Neither did I. I don't want to say I'm sorry for you; I just want to say I... I get you."

You hugged him. "Villains stick together."

It took Dabi a few moments to process he was being hugged. You take it he wasn't used to affection or intimate moments. A moment of regret came but something rather surprising happened. He didn't back away. Dabi hugged you back, very softly. You felt his warm hands against your back. You feel his heart beating.

You stayed like that for a long time. It seems like even the cold Dabi can be human once in a while. You smile at the thought.

It was a bit awkward hugging him at this angle. You were about to pull away when suddenly, something warm hits your shoulder.

Ah, that's why he wouldn't let me see his face. He was crying.

You pat his fluffy hair, not wanting him to back off in such a sensitive moment. Rubbing comforting circles into his back, you can hear he was calming down. Thinking about a better memory probably.

Dabi lets out a few rough breaths. You listen to the music of the busy streets below.

He leans back and pulls you into his chest. Neither one of you talked. It was a special moment, and you really didn't want to ruin it. You look at his face. You can hardly see his features under the night sky, but it was clear that he reverted back to his signature Dabi face.

"Hey Dabi, you want some more chips?"

He closed his eyes, "Yeah, whatever."

You smile.
