Hidden desire

A new day

As I was waking up, the next day. I remembered last night we all decided to order pizza. It was honestly really relaxing just chillin with my family.

But still can't help but feel sad, ughh it hasn't been a month since my parents death. How am I supposed to do this?

As I looked out the window I decided well, I'm going to have to get use to living here now.

I slowly got up and looked at the clock,  11:36 am.  Dang guess I slept in. Usually in Florida I was up way before that getting ready,  helping out in the kitchen with breakfast.

Oh well,

I definitely loved my room,  but I couldn't help feel homesick.

"I decided" Time to take the puppers for a walk!

So I started getting ready, it was Saturday so I'm guessing my cousins were asleep still. I changed and went downstairs.

I approached Simo he was asleep, lol poor little guy! Maybe I'll let him sleep this time.

Later tho I'll be taking him for a walk.

My aunt was in her office working on designs for new home they were working on.

"Morning " I said to my tia.

"Morning mija" sipping her coffee.

Did you sleep well?

Yeahh it was ok, I honestly haven't been sleeping but I'll get my sleep schedule soon.

Hey Tia? I'm going to take a walk is that cool"?

Sure mija!

Just be careful, oh later you can take Simo to. But you just need to put his harness on, I'll show you later on ok?

Yeahh that's cool  tia Catherine.

Okay,  be safe and don't get lost!

As I was going for a walk , god this place is beautiful!!

Definitely will be going for lot's of walks here now.

"I was thinking",  so I'll probably have to start school soon.

Great! Just what I need more stuff on my mind..

Maybe I'll see Josh their?

"Oh" Josh!? He gave me his number? Oh man should I actually contact him? Ughhh idk maybe " I'll think about it"

Getting to the house I saw a car. I didn't recognize it but I was hearing voices inside; So I decided to check it out.

As I was entering the house I was hearing lots of talking. I recognize a couple of voices but as I was walking inside someone grabbed me from behind and picked me up.

"My my my " You have grown my dear!

Wait a minute?  I recognize that voice well sort of!

I turned around!  Luke is that you? 

The one and only, he smirked laughing out loud.

"OMG"??? Dude! I haven't seen you in forever!! I told him excitedly.

How you bin Rose? He asked me with concern in his voice.

I've been ok luke,  just ok.

I know hun.

But I'm here if you ever want to talk ok?

Thank you luke, I said smiling.

No probs beautiful, he smiled at me and Givin me another hug.

As we started talking,  it had been years and he definitely had grown.  His hair got longer , and we still both listen to the same music classic rock and metal . That's what we always liked about us that we both had a dark side to but could laugh about it.

His parents were talking with my aunt,  they were their neighbors it's how me and Luke met.

"So" he started.

Are you going to be going to school here also?

Yeahh"  I suppose"

Oh then I better warn you, last time you were here you left Javier pretty mad.

Javier?  Why! I didn't do anything to him.

You know, he's had a crush on you since we were kids.

God not that again!!

What's wrong with that guy?

Rose you're beautiful and as you grown up you seem to grow more.  So watch out ok? I'm telling you as your friend.

Thanks Luke,  and thanks for the compliment amigo ;I smiled at him. He was so sweet , I always had the biggest crush on him but I never said anything. I just don't want to ruin our friendship!
