Cheryl and I were planning to go over to the nearby beach with Betty, Jughead, Veronica, and Archie. I got dressed in a black-purple ombré bikini, my hair in space buns, a choker, and black flip flops. Cheryl wore a red bikini, black flip flops, and her hair beautifully down. She kept her bright red lipstick, and long black lashes.
"Hop on." I say, getting on my bike. The ride there isn't very long. It's about half an hour to forty-five minutes. I spot Betty and Jughead setting up as we pull into the parking lot. "Hey!" I say when we get to them. "Hey!" Betty exclaims, hugging me. "The water looks great." I stare into the clear light blue liquid. "Cheryl, do you like to swim?" Asks Jughead. "Yeah. It's not my favourite thing, but I do enjoy it." She responds.
Just when we finish setting up, Archie and Veronica arrive. "Took you guys long enough!" Screams Jughead, playfully. "Got caught up in the bedroom?" Asks Cheryl. "Couch." Responds Veronica, biting her lip. I let out a small laugh.
The three couples get cuddled up in chairs. I hear kisses, and giggles, but I only focus on Cheryl. Her light brown eyes staring into mine. Our lips touch for a moment, when Veronica gets up in her purple bathing suit and screams, "Last one to the water is a broken pearl!" We all sprint. She was last, surprisingly. The water was cool and refreshing. My feet were drowning in the sand, so I was forced to grip onto Cheryl's shoulder for support. I had noticed Betty's bathing suit. The top was a light pink, and bottoms were baby blue. It reminded me of cotton candy, which was the absolute favourite food of my childhood. I let out a smile at this. It's wonderful - remembering the little things in life.
