______________"You're gonna be okay," Isabel said, holding you close. "I know he's trying to take over the world, but if anyone can do this, you can."
You looked at your sister. You sensed the fear in her heart and the dry feeling of discomfort as Isabel spoke words even she knew wasn't true. However, a warmth in your heart was aflame as you sensed the burning hope inside your sister.
"I believe in you," she whispered, breaking apart the hug. "I'll be back from my mission in a few weeks."
You gave her a weak smile. "I'll be here, waiting, and hopefully saving the world."
Isabel returned the smile and waved as she left. "Tell Bucky and Steve not to miss me too much!"
"I'll try."

"She's gonna get hurt, Steve." Tony said sternly. "I'm gonna tell you, this isn't a good plan"
"Isabel told me she'd be right for the job. I trust Isabel more than anyone I know, and she's told me great things of Y/n. I've been told she can talk people out of insanity," He reassured. "If anyone can convince Loki to stop, peacefully, it's her."
"I know this will work," Thor muttered to himself. "There's still good in my brother." Thor knew in his heart that Loki could be changed. His heart yearned for the times he spent as a child, playing with his brother. The innocence of memory made his heart heavy and his eyebrows furrow. But it also gave him hope.
Tony brought his gaze back to surveillance camera on the screen in front of him. Loki paced in his cell, walking back and forth. He made small, subtle glances to the camera, his smirk never wavering. Loki knew something was up.
The click of your heels echoed in the cold hallway, with your legs covered in tights. Your gray pencil skirt matches the blazer that rested on your torso over a black blouse. Your hair was tied up tightly and professionally, and a clipboard has held tightly to your chest. Natasha Romanoff walked next to you down the hall.
You were nervous, your heart was racing and distress was evident on your features as your lip was wedged between your teeth.
"Be wary," Natasha stated coldly, without emotion except for strictness.
"Yes ma'am." You said, looking at her even though her eyes where fixated on the door a few feet ahead.
Your heart began to race as you drew nearer to the door. You felt your ears grow hot. You stopped before you entered the door.
"I'm serious." Agent Romanoff said, looking at you this time. Her eyebrows where furrowed together. "He's dangerous, Dr. L/n. Don't let him control you."
"Yes ma'am. I have it under control. I'm an empath, Miss, I can sway his emotions to our benefit." You stated, putting your own behind your ear.
"I'll believe it when I see it, Doc." She opened the door for you. "Good luck."
You nodded in response and walked through the door. You locked eyes with the god of mischief through the glass of the cell, and you knew this would be tough for you. Your breath immediately started to shake as you fed off of his emotions. The emotions filled your throat and chest and made it hard to breathe. Amusement, rascality, naughtiness, sadness, and anger welled up in your throat as you looked into his deep green eyes. One emotion, however, stood above the rest.
Revenge.
Deep, ruthless rage that laid dormant in him for many years. It just started to bubble to the surface, and this feeling of revenge was almost too much to bear. You clenched your teeth and your hands balled into fists. You had to gain control.
