Chapter 8 - The past unveiled

"Jungkook.. wake up.." Jungkook shot up in bed, sweating.
"T-tae-" The older pulled him into an embrace.
"Hey.. you okay? Was it one of the nightmares again?"
Jungkook shyly nodded. "Wait what? Again?"
"Y-yeah.."

Flashback.
"It's been a couple of times that you'd wake up in the middle of the night and yell out someone's name."

"Hey.. it's okay." Taehyung said holding onto the younger.

"And you'd often say that it's cold when it actually isn't."

"Jungkook are you alright?" He tightly hugged onto him.

"Jungkook please.. I'm worried."

"But you seemed to be calmer and you don't really remember anything after you woke up." Taehyung shyly said.
"O-oh.. so you've been.. awake because of me?"

"Uh.. yeah I guess."
"Hyung.. why didn't you tell me?"
"You seemed so frightened i didn't want you to remember.."

Jungkook looked at the older flustered and trailed his fingers down his cheeks.
"Thank you." He smiled, making the older blush.
"S-sure.."

"Hyung."
"Yeah?"

"Why are you being nice to me?" He looked down playing with his fingers.
"Must there be a reason for me being nice to you?"
"Y-yeah." Taehyung looked at him confused.
"Mm.. how so?"
"You're the school's biggest playboy and you got all the girls and stuffs so why would you care about me.." The older felt his heart sting.
"Hey. Is my baby feeling insecure?"

That nightmare must've been something that left a huge scar on him..

"Um.." Jungkook blushed at the comment, making Taehyung smile.
"Jungkook. I'm being nice to you because I want to. Everyone's nice to you because we're all your friends."

Friends.

"Friends?"
"Hm?"

"Are we friends?" Jungkook looked at him.
"Yeah.. of course we are." Taehyung's smile was soon faded when he felt Jungkook kissing him.

"Do friends do this?" He nibbled onto Taehyung's ear.
"J-jungkook-"
"Or this?" He bit down onto his jawline.
"Kook-"
"Or this?" He sucked onto his soft neck making him moan.
"K-kook.."

"Fuck Taehyung.. you don't understand-"
"Then make me understand." Taehyung sat Jungkook on his lap. "I'm willing to hear everything."
A small smile crept on Jungkook's face when he realized how close they were.

"Hyung.." The older looked at him with full interest. "When i was in middle school.."

"Jungkook!" Jaehyun said holding onto something behind his back.
"Jaehyun! What is it?" He tried to peek.

"Hm.. Kiss me first." He closed his eyes waiting Jungkook to lean in. And of course he did.

"Okay now.. what is it?" Jungkook excitedly said.
Jaehyun hands him a bouquet of flowers. "Jae.. they're so pretty.."
"Pretty like you baby. You like it?"
"I love it." He said giving the other a hug.

"But not long after, i found out that he's been cheating on me."

"Jaehyun please.."
"No Jungkook. Leave me the fuck alone."

"It was winter.. I ran and ran until I eventually found him."

"What have i possibly done wrong?" He cried.
