It was the first day of school and you were already late. You quickly get up and get ready when all of a sudden you hear your mom yelling at you to hurry.
"I'm coming!" You yell at your mom.
You grab your bag, and walk out the door.
"Mom, Why are you being so weird?" You ask.
"Honey what are you talking about? Did you even get sleep last night?" She laughed.
"Is there something you want to tell me?"
She ignores your question.
"We're here" says Mama.
"Oh and hey, Don't go around kissing no boys Leah. I know how you girls are these days."
"Mom!" You declare.
You walk into school and notice a boy across your locker. You walk closer and he looks at you.
"Oh I'm sorry, was I in your way?" He smirked
"No actually my locker is right next to yours."
"Oh, I knew that." He laughed
His big eyes sparkled as the sun shined through the windows. His smile was almost too perfect. His laugh, His lips, everything about him was just right.
"My name is Finn. Finn Wolfhard."
"Hi Finn. My name is Leah"
"You have a pretty name. Uh, anyways I got to get to class. See you later?"
"Yeah, see you later I guess."
He winked and smiled at you and walked away.
First period bell rings and you're late.
"Shit, And it's the first day of school."
You run to class and see Finn sitting in the back. He smiles and points to the chair next to him. You rush to sit down.
"Young lady! You're late. Detention." Calls the teacher
Finn laughs as you stare in disbelief.
"You've got to be kidding me."
