A/n: Takes place after Lexa comes back from watching the skai people

Lexa's Pov:

I walked into my room and took off my shoulder piece and set it down on the armor rack I was about to remove my coat when I heard a small rustle from beside me. I turned and found Y/n fast asleep on my couch. She was rolled in a small ball, her hair covered her face. her lips were slightly parted and moved with each breath.

I smiled at the girl, she looked so beautiful and peaceful in her slumber as if nothing bad had happened. I watched her as a cool breeze filled my room from the open window y/n shivered in her sleep as it covered her. I sighed and walked over to her I couldn't leave her on the couch in the cold so I went over to her and began to pick her up. Because she was a bit smaller than me it was easy to hold her. Once she was in my arms I felt her curl into my chest nuzzling her nose into my lower chest, I felt my heartbeat quicken fearing it would stir her but she only moaned quietly and continued to sleep in my arms. I quickly walked to my bed and laid her down gently and pulled some furs over her. I sighed in relief and walk to my bathroom to finish changing into my nightclothes.

I changed quickly and walked to my bed sliding in it facing you, the moonlight shined off your face-framing you in angelic light. I. lifted my index finger and began to trace your features, I traced your closed eyes, the bridge of your nose, and finally your lips.

Le: "What are you doing to me y/n" I whispered out knowing you wouldn't answer I stopped tracing your lips and instead placed my thumb in the center of your pink lips gently.

Le: "I'm not supposed to love you" I paused as the words escaped me faintly almost like a whisper.

Le: "I'm not supposed to love anyone" I removed my thumb from your lips and placed it on your cheek rubbing it slightly.

Le: "But you, you make me feel so many things." I sigh and let go of her cheek sitting up in my bed I sighed and looked into the darkness of my room.

Le: "What am I doing" I whisper to myself and look down to you as you slept wanting an answer for so many things but again you slept but your lips parted wider than a breath.

Y/n: "Leka" You muttered, I waited for you to speak once more but you never did all you did was sleep.

I groaned loudly and fell back in bed, my heart pumped and my head spun with questions and distance shouts from the previous commanders but I ignored them. I grabbed some fur and pulled it over my body sighing one last time and closed my eyes letting sleep whisk me away from these raising thoughts.
