They returned home Serena was in her mother's room. She was sitting on her mother's bed. As her mother was getting dirty clothes. I thought, after all, there is a lot to think about.
I could recall everything from earlier today. Earlier this week. I remember everything including two-thirty-eight. But I'm supposed to forget everything but I still remember. I didn't see two-thirty-eight after that thing opened up. Heck May's bag came out a little while after mom did. But if two-thirty-eight never made it out two-thirty-eight should be bottle away.
I have yet to tell my mother what happened. I figured I tell her when she's done with the clothes. She did say later after all.
Mom leaves the room and I follow her. I started to close the door but I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I look at it and it looked like eyes.
I head out there to check it out. I approach it as it hides in the trees. "Who are you"? "Why are you watching us"? "Serena you don't remember me". "At least that part never fails". "Two-thirty-eight you're ok". "But why were you watching us". "I wanted to make sure she was ok".
"Well, she is". "O before I forgot those men who tried to shoot you". "They were captured and are now at the mercy of Queen May". "That's good to hear". "Why don't you come inside"? "You could talk to mom she's bound to like you". "No Serena not ever". Two-thirty-eight whispering that last part. "Do you want that dress back". "Mommy is washing it now but still". "No, she can keep it". "After all, it looks good on her".
"Have you told her what happened yet"? "No, not yet". "Don't tell her it's better this way". "But why"? "Please don't tell her". "Ok, then I won't". Two-thirty-eight ran back to the cave. As I head back into the house.
