Chapter I: History

Slade Joseph Wilson was only sixteen when he enlisted in the US army, obviously lying about his age. After serving in the Korean war, he was sent to Camp Washington, later being promoted to Major. It was the 1960's when he met his wife to be, Adaline Cane. She was given to order to train soldiers in new combative techniques. Slade surpassed everyone else Adaline trained, becoming the greatest soldier she had ever met and opening the door to a rush of romantic feelings for him. He also mastered every single form of combat he was exposed to in less than a year. This included guerilla warfare which Adaline happily trained him in privately. Soon giving him the rank of lieutenant colonel. Half a year later, the two got married and she bacame pregnant with their first child. However, the Vietnam war was escalating and Slade was sent overseas, while she gave birth to their son Grant. Slade, after some time, volunteered for an experimental procedure that was meant to increase resistance to truth serums. This didn't go as planned, sending him into a coma. After coming to, Slade was able to use 90% of his brain at once, and gained superhuman strength, speed, agility and durability. Slade tried to get a reassessment for the army but was declined and fell into a depressive state. He then became a world famous safari hunter, but his wife didn't think it did him much good. Years later, a group of mercenaries broke into his home and took his son, Joey. Because of this, Slade had to break the truth to his wife about being of the the most deadly assassin's. Unfortunately this also meant he was one of the world's most wanted, known as Deathstroke the Terminator. Slade and his wife went in search of their son but did not get him back unharmed. The mercenaries slit the young boys throat leaving him mute but not dead. Adaline was not thrilled about this so she pulled a gun and shot Slade in the back of the head. But like his son, he didn't die; the assissin, instead lost his right eye. Now Deathstroke is so skilled and so confident he makes the loss of his eye known to all, leaving the right side if his mask featureless. To this day, Deathstroke remains an assassin with one if the highest kill counts in the history of the DC universe.
