Standing at the edge of hell, impervious to the dangers lurking in the darkness he is nocturnal. Tormenting screams of souls in peril no longer affect him.

He watches in complete silence, like a statue. He assesses the ruins of life and says nothing. You could tell from his eyes that this is a man who has lost everything... then as quickly as the creep of time, thunder strikes.

The rain starts falling on his face... finally the heave of his chest becomes visible to the naked eye, and with a contemptuous expression he exhales silently out into the air to humidify the foul atmosphere.

He takes in one last deep breathe and as lightning strikes acting as a torch illuminating his face... I finally notice him. All this time i have been staring at the reflection of myself in the glass doors of the pearly gates.

"This is it"  I think to myself, should I initiate my plan? My plan involves robbing the Angels of heaven. I am bitter because while everyone else was getting their blessings I was being overlooked.

I prayed until my tears turned to blood, I screamed for help until i could scream no more 'til one day it came to me... what if i killed myself, resurrected into the spiritual realm, broke into heaven and demanded god fix all that is wrong with the world?...

Initially my plan went accordingly. I robbed a few Angels and broke into the dwelling place of the most high.... but what I find is perplexing... the god... the god I have been cynical of this entire time, the god I have been looking for all along looked exactly like me.

Without looking into my direction, he knows that I am there stalking him like an animal. He calls out my name and motions for me to come closer... "Who are you, I don't understand... what's going on?" I ask in a shaky voice.

I stutter out words as i try to put them together as delicately as I could. My confidence had been shaken. The meer presence of this being was tremendous. I thought I knew, now it's evident that I know nothing.

"I am him, I am her, I am them and I am you, your higher self. I am what you have been searching for. I know why you are here. You came all this way for someone you could have easily found in your own reflection, Welcome." he said in a peaceful voice. - Menzi Buthelezi
