A million thoughts flooded my brain. Who could have sent the box? Getting off the floor I rummaged the box in search of any messages left for me. After a few minutes I finally landed my eyes on an envelope with my name on it. Slowly tearing open the envelope my eyes were met with a letter.

Dear baby girl,

If your reading this, the lord has called me home. Don't cry baby girl, everything will be okay. I would hate for you to cry. Mommy wants you to follow your dream and to grow into a beautiful woman. Be good for me Kiki try not to stress your father out so much, no need for his blood pressure to rise. Try to forgive you brother, I know it's hard but life is too short for you to keep grudges. You know when it might be your time to go. Live your life to the fullest extent. Never think about what if's, take the risk. But I love you baby girl mommy's watching you from that big place in the sky. Wipe your tears....

Wiping the tears from my eyes. Holding my chest, I just questioned god's decision to take my mom. She will always have been the love of my life. Whenever I was down whatever it took to cheer me up she would do. I truly and honestly miss our talks, the only thing that kept me sane. I feel lost in this world. I'm not ready to enter alone without my mom. I mean I have my Papa too, but a life without your mom is a whole different thing. Picking up her chain I placed it on my neck, while placing her scarf on my bed.

2 hours later

I was awakening by my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I answered half way sleep

"Bitch I've been trying to reach you for the past hour" Sharon said

"My bad I was really tired" I said while yawning

"It's alright how you feeling?" She asked

"Fine I can't complain" I responded

"That's good to hear I was so worried about you" She said

"You don't have to be I'll be fine" I said half way smiling

"Shut up you always saying some dumb shit" She said sucking her teeth

"What you want?" I asked

"I want you to come over sis" She said

"Alright give me an hour" I said laughing

"Alight I'll call you in an hour to make sure your ass ready" She said

"Whatever Bye" I said rolling my eyes

"Later hoe" She said

Hanging up the phone I slipped the covers off my body. Rummaging through my dresser I just decided on wearing a pair of Victoria secret sweat suit with my pink slides. Throwing my hair into two cornrows I grabbed my phone entering the kitchen. After minutes of deliberation I decided on making myself a grilled cheese sandwich. After eating my sandwich, I made my way out of my dorm. Making my way onto the highway I hooked my phone up to the aux cord and decided to play some classic R&B hits.

30 minutes later

Finally arriving to my best bitch house, ringing the front door I was met with the eyes of my trifling brother. Within an instance I socked him in his lower area and started attacking him.

"Kiki stop you're going to hurt him"

"Your more worried about him than your own best friend"

"It's not like that, I have something to tell you"

"Your sleeping with him aren't you?"

"Please let me explain..."

"Just tell the bitch your pregnant too"

"So this whole time I've been venting to you about him and you've been fucking him on the side"

"Kiki please just hear me out"

"No fuck you don't call me when he beats your ass"

With that I quickly walked back to my car, turning on the ignition. Making my way out her driveway I made my journey to the one place that helps me clear my mind.

Walking down the one path I haven't walk down in years, squatting making contact with my mom's grave. I just sat there and cried my eyes out.

My own best friend betrayed her? My father takes her brothers side over mines. What am I supposed to do now?
