lily potter was never petunia dursley sister, she was the daughter of Queen Elizabeth and prince Phillip and she was kidnapped as a baby so Queen Elizabeth sent the royal wizard guard to find her.
After six-eight weeks lily recovers from giving birth to harry, she was ready to meet her real family who would accept for who she is and not call her a freak or other names like petunia and Vernon do which lily will tell her real parents about. she with baby harry in her arms while dressed in her finest dress and James who is dressed in his finest suit for the big day then they exit their house where outside the royal wizard guard was waiting in Daimler DS420 car to take them to Buckingham palace where lily's real family is waiting for her, lily who is holding baby harry in her arms get in the car first followed by James who closes the door then the royal wizard guard start the car and drive to Buckingham palace from Godric's hallow to London and the whole way Harry slept until they arrived in London does he wake up just before they arrive at Buckingham palace front gates which opens for them as they drive through the gates heading towards the palace while behind them the front gates closes, the Daimler DS420 car drives towards the grand entrance.

The Daimler DS420 car stops in front of the doors, then James and Lily who is holding baby Harry in her arms get out of the car and head inside Buckingham palace. Jeremy smith, Liam jones, Robert Williams, Alastair Taylor, Balthazar Davies, Duncan Brown, Brandon Thomas and Gordon Harris led them to the green drawing room where queen Elizabeth II, Prince consort Phillp and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and princess Margaret with their other children: Prince of Wales Charles, princess Anne, prince Andrew and prince Edward are waiting for them.

When queen Elizabeth and Prince consort Phillip with their other children look towards Lily who is holding baby Harry in her arms and James while being escorted by the royal wizard guard into the green drawing room before Queen Elizabeth and prince consort Phillip approach Lilly who gives baby Harry to James so she can hug her real parents and siblings who have been looking for her all this time, Lily reaches her real parents first and she hugs both of them as they tell her that they have missed her so much and they have dreamt of this day for so long then she hugs her brothers and sister who say the same thing as their parents. Lily introduces James and baby harry to them Lily's real family is very happy to meet James their new son-in-law and brother-in-law to their new grandson and nephew that they take turns holding Harry to hugging James, they start talking about lily's childhood with the Evans including how her adopted older sister petunia treated her due to lily having magic and not her so petunia takes pride in being normal also her husband Vernon is just like her which greatly angers Elizabeth and Phillp to her and James school years at Hogwarts including their experiences and their friends to their current careers in the ministry of magic including the fight against Voldemort and his death eaters to giants, werewolves, Inferi and Dementors, which Queen Elizabeth promises to deploy the royal wizarding guard to help with the fight against Voldemort because she compares Voldemort to Adolf Hitler due mindset and desire for world conquest which greatly relieves James and Lily because both the ministry and the order of the phoenix are stretched to their limit fighting Voldemort's forces. Elizabeth and Phillp wanted to reveal that she has been found to the public, but lily asked them not due to her life as a non-royal and she wouldn't be able to handle the duties of being a active member of the royal family, both Elizabeth and Philp respect lily's decision but they do make them the duke and duchess of Gryffindor after their schoolhouse and one of the founders of Hogwarts Godric Gryffindor to which both James and Lily accept.
