A/N: Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well! I just wanted to say that I've decided to split this into three (possible four if necessary) chapters due to this story being so long. I think this will be a bit more enjoyable to read than my other two stories because I planned all of this out. I will hopefully have the next chapter up in a few days, maybe even tomorrow but i'm not too sure... Anyway, I hope you enjoy this first chapter! :3
"Marinette! Marinette, you need to wake up!"
Her kwami, Tikki, yanked at her duvet with a hard tug from her tiny paws.
Her owner opened her eyes, yawning.
"What...? What's wrong?"
She sat up, stretching and looking around her room with an exhausted expression.
Tikki shook her head, sighing at Marinette's forgetfulness.
"It's school today! You're going to be late if you don't-"
She was cut off by a high-pitched squeal from Marinette and she noticed slight anxiety fill her bluebell eyes.
"Aw no! Not again!"
Jumping out of her bed, she rushed into the bathroom to change while Tikki just watched her with an amused look.
After grabbing her clothes and slinging them on, the girl went to snatch up her comb, grumbling as she brushed her blue locks and tied them into their usual pigtails.
Oh, why does this always happen?!

"Nearly there, nearly there..."
The girl muttered to herself as her dark blue locks bobbed up and down behind her.
Finally she approached the two tall doors that entered into the school so she pushed them open and quickly ran inside.
Running up the stairs, Marinette slowed herself down as she neared the classroom door, hesitantly opening it with a shaky hand and walking inside, trying to ignore the curious stares from her classmates.
Turning her head, she realised that Ms. Bustier wasn't in the room as she headed towards her desk place next to her bff, Alya.
Before she could sit down, however, a certain blonde girl stood up, glaring at her with a menacing smile plastered on her lipstick covered lips.
"Oh, look who decides to join us... It's Maribrat! Honestly Maribrat, are you having trouble sleeping or something? Oh, of course, you're too poor to afford a proper bed, unlike me!"
The spoilt girl let out a cackle, still giving her a mischievous grin.
She continued, "It must be hard to sleep in a small, damp cardboard box at night! Why can't you get a job at a dump site or something? You deserve it!"
Chloé stuck out her tongue in the brunettes direction, laughing triumphantly until Adrien stood up from his seat, glancing over at the Mayor's daughter with an angry and slightly irritated look.
"Please stop it, Chloé. You're not being very nice."
Meanwhile, Marinette felt quite stung by Chloé's words, making her nearly miss her own crush's words.
