Lol it's around midnight where I am. Tired from a long travel day. Imma be honest with you, I didn't write any of this on the plane. The plane ride was too short, and I was at an aisle seat, which meant I had to keep getting up every single time the two other people in my row had to use the bathroom, which was annoying. I didn't want to have to keep taking my computer out and putting my computer back every single time. Also I can't really write in the car, I get carsick.
So I'm staying up late to finish this update for you guys. Hope you all like it :) I'm really excited for this chapter.
I'm gonna go crash on the mattress that I am sleeping on and sleep because this girl is tired.
Enjoy!!!

The next two days were pretty uneventful. Fay had ended up in a dense forest. Unable to find shelter the first day she slept on the forest floor. The next day, she found a rather small, but still suitable, cave where she could make a small fire and make herself at home. Even when she wasn't in the cave, she would light a fire each night to keep warm.
The forest floor wasn't all that comfortable and the fire went away quickly the first night. Fay hadn't slept well, and woke up early cold, even though she was wrapped in blankets. She was glad to have the cave to sleep in, for the fire kept longer and she felt sheltered and protected.
The cave was located near a freshwater river, which Fay had discovered the first day. Even though it was a bit dirty at times, that was her only source of water and she was thankful for it.
Close to the river was a fruit tree that was Fay's only source of food for now. The fruit was a reddish-pink and was sort of sweet, but not too sweet. Fay could not name what the fruit was, but it was sufficient enough to be food. Fay knew that, once the seasons changed, that the fruit would go away and Fay would have to find something else. Fay had considered going fishing but decided against it until she got better surviving in the wilderness. She would, at some point, need a source of protein, so Fay hoped to start fishing soon.
Besides all of those things, she had a luggage full of clothes, a pillow, and some blankets, as well as the things her mother gave her. These would eventually wear and Fay would have to figure something else out, but for now, it would be okay.
Fay woke up this morning feeling somewhat refreshed, but definitely much better than the day before. The sun was higher up in the sky than when she woke up the night before, and Fay knew that she got much better sleep. She was glad, she needed it.
Fay learned not to care much about her appearance. She would only rinse herself and get rid of any tangles in her hair in the morning. She still changed her clothes every day and rinsed them in the river at night.
After doing all those things, Fay would use her hands to drink out of the river to quench her thirst. Then, she would go to the fruit tree and take another fruit to eat.
Nothing much happened after her breakfast. Sometimes she would explore a bit. Sometimes she just rested. That happened yesterday because she was so tired and sleep deprived. Today, however, felt like an exploration day.
As much as Fay loved exploring nature, the forest was rather boring. It was pretty dense, which meant that there were just trees everywhere and nothing else. Fay didn't really know what to look for, so she just wandered around, making sure she could still find her way back to the cave.
Fay's thoughts wandered different places as she explored. Fay didn't really have anything to think about. After all, she was in the middle of nowhere.
